Grand Theft Auto: London Mission Pack (PS)

People have been saying that GTALondon is going to be better than GTA, but I don't agree. Make no mistake, this is a very good game, but it's not quite up to the standards that I would have expected from a sequel. It does have its good points, the sensetivity is just right, as is the level of difficulty. I enjoyed playing GTALondon, but if I had the choice, I would rather play GTA.

Having played Vice City at a friends house, I decided to get this game for my aging GameBoy Colour. And my feelings were mixed. Oh yes.

The game is very easy to get in to, and running over pedestrians is jolly good fun. Getting hold of firepower is relatively easy, and fun to use. The game is also in "glorious 2D 8-bit colour" (I quote the manual). However, 2D eight-bit colour isn't that glorious anymore.

The graphics, while not being an eyesore, are not very impressive. At all. And this game is not easy to control in 2D. And while we are on controls, the actual controls aren't so bad once you get used to them. But the controlls may put you off when you are first playing. State of Emergency (Xbox)

If you want a game to stretch your mental abilities, I'd suggest you look somewhere else, because this will not really be for you. However, if you just want to smash windows and burn down some shops during a full-scale riot, you've come to the right place.
First thing to say about this game is it has virtually no depth. Just destroy as much public property as possible, and kill anyone who tries to stop you. Despite this, in the short term at least, it's fantastic fun. Mowing down twenty security guards with a minigun then blowing up a department store is a top way to get that stress out of your system.
In multiplayer mode, it's even better. Apparently, there is no multiplayer mode on the PS2, but on the Xbox, it's probably the best ... Read More:

THE STORY:
In the future the Corporation controls America. However, a small group of anarchists are attempting to "Go, go, go! Smash the Corporation!" and the civillian population rises up in a king-sized riot.

WHAT'S GOOD:
Did your boss give you a dressing-down? Girlfriend just jilted you? Then relieve your violent urges by beating civilians to death with other people's severed heads! Rockstar were hounded about the violence of the GTA games and so they took the violence out of GTA3...and made it into a game in it's own right! Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition (Limited Edition with Soundtrack CD) (PS2)

When i first went to buy this game i had some doubts after playing another game on the market, but this game is soo much better then any thing else on the market, as always i will read some reviews and everyone said that if you love Need for Speed Underground 2 then you will love this game, they were not lying it's fantastic. and not just the in game playing, when the cover says you can customise everything you can, and when your racing it feels like your moving at high speed and not just pushing buttoms, and the cars, you don't just have to have tune-ables and SUV's you can have Muscle, luxury, you even need to have a Vehicle with 4 wheels.

Grand Theft Auto Double Pack is simply crazy! Not only does it promote violence but it is actually so sick and twisted that it actually makes it fun. GTA London seems a little lacklustred, half-heartedly made, as places like Camden (where I have visited) seems about as familiar as Atlantis. All Praise to the first GTA which is brilliant and causing havoc in the USA is more pleasurable and enticing as it is in London. Police bribes are a wonderful thing and pulling a taxi up, as well as the driver is great seeing as you don't have to pay! Sick things include: Screaming kids as you hijack a schoolbus and "kill frenzy" a bad influence on today's soceity Ah so what man! IF YOU LIKE THE IDEA,DON'T JUST SIT THERE: BUY IT!

This is a great game. It has great cars, amzing gameplay, great customization, great graphics and it poses a real challenge.

So the cars, there are so many and all costomizable in almost every way you could think of. They are sorted into catagories, SUVs/Trucks, Exotics, Muscle Cars etc. and are then sorted into further catagories of performence, Class D, Class E etc. They all have different performence levels and these can be upgraded in the garage, you can change the engine core, the brakes etc. and can even inject your ride with nitrous to give it a boost of insane speed. The only dissapointment in this catergory is that you cant costomize the inside of your car, bummer.

Truly a great buy. All 3 GTA games and for an absolute belter of a price! I had the games on the PS2 but I always wanted to play them on the Xbox and I'm glad I did because they're much better.

BUY THIS!
