World Snooker Championship 2005 (PS2)

First of all I think this is an excellent representation to what happens during a snooker match.I have had this game pretty much since it came out and have yet to qualify for any tournaments but I do enjoy the challenge I have come close once or twice but then a big gun comes along and ruins my progress but I have beaten some of the pros like Ronnie O' Sullivan and James Wattana in matches. it can seem at times a slow game but snooker isn't about speed it's about choosing the right shot and hitting it accurately and getting more points than your opponent besides I often enjoy seeing what my opponent is doing so generally I just watch when I am not at the table as it makes it easier for me to decide what my next shot will be Graphically a good ... Ok, this is sonic's opposite, who can handle guns twice the size of himself!!! Wicked! Bedroom_studio is obviously not familiar with the concept of this game. It isn't nessecarily about story, it is more about the fast paced gameplay and being able to choose your goals and paths. And there isn't a problem with the story, as there are about 12 different ones depending on which path you choose to take and whether your good or evil, or neutral. All of the storyline's of the game are at least acceptable, it's not as if they're unbearable!!
Don't buy this for children under 7 though, they won't have a clue what to do! As it is mission-based, and on some stages you have to be clever, patient (i'm not), and determined. ... Read More:

Sonic Riders (PS2)

Now I thought it was an Awesome concept for a game, Considering I'm a big fan of the Tony Hawk series, so I got it for my Birthday in 2005, and GAWD was I dissapointed! the gameplay is absolutely terrable, it took me literaly days to firgure out how to play, and it took me weeks to get 1st for the 1st time, afterwards it's very easy, the graphics in the game itself isn't bad, although the cutscenes, each character has been terrably drawn, if you know what I mean, my fave character in the Sonic Series Tails, looks bad in this game, the levels have realy stupid names such as "egg Factory"? WTF!? The good thing about this game is the Music, the Music Is Possibly the best game music I've ever heard, but let's face it you can just download them on Limewire or Galbadia ... Read More:

When you first buy and play this game you will love it. However, after about a week or less you will not play it again. It is simple to complete and has no long term appeal. Rent it or forget it.

Although Im not a huge Matrix fan i found the game better thenm i was expecting from reveiws i had read. The graphics arn't amazing but there good. There is a strong community and its a very enjoyable game to play, i would recommened getting the Prima Guide for this game if you are interested in the backgrounds of the characters and the game.

Full Auto 2: Battlelines (PS3)

What I noticed was that this is a very rushed attempt to gain a place in the undercrowded PS3 market before burnout arrived... but now that it has there's very little point to this game, unless you really want guns on cars! Which burnout doesn't have.... something else i noticed is that the car on the cover has chop-shopped BMW 5-series headlights.

Outrun 2006: Coast 2 Coast (PC)

I just got this game and having played it for a couple of days I have to say that it is pretty darn good.
The visuals are stunning, there is every Ferrari u have ever wished u could drive, the game itself is very much arcade and this reflects in the easy to learn gameplay (having said this the game is not easy, you can tweak the difficulty.) I'm a big fan of the Toca series or had been and although this game is at the opposite end of the spectrum the fact that it features accurately modelled liscenced Ferraris should be enough to interest hardcore sim fans and arcade lovers alike.

Overall its just fun really, like toca but without the graft so a good one for five minute lunchbreak sessions (and the rest of the day if u get hooked like I did.)

This is the first football management on the XBOX 360 and takes the successful Football Manager franchise off the PC straight onto your XBOX 360 console.

It takes a while getting used to the controls on this game with all the buttons having a function. This is unlike the PC version where the controls are easy to use.

Apart from that you have all the leagues in here [...] and you can choose who to manage to success. The huge database gives you the opportunity to learn about so many football players from all over the world and most of the players have a photograph with them.

Quake III Arena

It's hard. Very. VERY. Hard.

It's also not very fun on single player, and since it is no longer online, you can only play with friends on the multiplayer.

The controls can be customized and you will spend a lot of time fumbling around with them until you get a set-up that feels comfortable to you.

The graphics are pretty awesome and there is a huge array of weapons, characters and arenas (all of which are brilliantly detailed and pleasing to play in).

Unfortunately, however, not much more can really be said about this game. It's overrated and mediocre, and chances are you'll be disappointed. Spend your money on something else.
