God of War 2 (PS2)

this game like the first is a master piece it has so much gore and still requires some stratergy and skill. it is a little harder then the first and i have now got stuck and i cant be arsed to try again. this game provides so much enjoyment and can keep you occupied for hours on end. this game is a must buy and i would say it could equal to the supperior god of war... World Tour Soccer (PSP)

I brought this game with the GIGA pack when i first brought one and i was delighted. The gameplay is userfriendly and has the "pick up and play" performance that makes the PSP so brilliant. The unlockables are perfect from England 1966 to the EURO SUPERTEAM. The game is challenging and you feel a real sense of pleasure when you complete the game. Even when the game is completed you can still do so many more things such as beat your records and invent your own challenges throught the replayable tournaments
The only downside to the game, for people who like the statistical side of the game, is that it is hard to access what you have and haven't actually achieved. You have to look through team by team to see if anyone remains unlocked but ... Read More:

Wipeout Pulse (PSP)

I was hesitant to buy this product since i already owned WipEout Pure for the PSP and many reviews said that this game was too similar to Pure.

I have found that this game is less of a seconed WipEout and more of an improved version of WipEout Pure. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone who has owned and enjoyed WipEout Pure, this game is different enough to be worth your £20!

Gameplay: The ships seem to handle easier than in WipEout Pure, but the AI is also better, so that levels it out. Overall a brilliant racing experience.

Graphics: Amazing for the PSP, this game has better graphics than WipEout Fusion on the PS2!

Sound: Brilliant techno music and powerful weapon noises.

Buzz! Sports Quiz - Solus (PS2)

Don't be put off- If you like other buzz games, we were hesitant about buying this game due to other reviews, but we thoroughly enjoyed it!! our son who is 10,and has a moderate sports knowledge did really well.It's all about having fun as a family and you get a lot of laughs with this game.

EyeToy Play 3 (Without Camera) (PS2)

I have just bought this for my son, so my husband and I thought we'd give it a go - just to make sure it was all working. I haven't laughed so hard in ages. I can't wait to watch my kids playing it.

I found the games easy to play. The element of fun comes from seeing yourself on screen and having to physically do the actions.

I think the EyeToy is genius!

Time Crisis 3 (PS2)

In reflection to what was said about the game earlier about splitting the screen in two, this can be avoided by playing "double dun mode" you and your friend then both get to play and the screen is not then divided, this is ideal for smaller TV sets.

Great game and pleanty of fun!

Everybody's Golf 2 (PSP)

This is my first forray into the world of Everybody's Golf but I must say it's a lot of fun. I have always been a fan of the Tiger Woods games because they were instantly accessible yet ever so deep - thankfully, Everybody's Golf 2 stands up just as well compared to its officially licensed counterpart. Whilst this does not have an official license and has a very cutesy appearance, Everybody's Golf 2 can provide a solid game of golf. It's easy to pick up and play straight out of the box and there are many unlockables to open up by winning tournaments (a lot are 9 hole, which is perfect for portable gaming - although these are 18 hole course so you can play a full round should you so wish).

Jak II: Renegade (PS2)

I thought Jak 2 was a poor game. I didn't enjoy any of the things I read as highlighted in other reviews I'm afraid.

The camera is sticky, it doesn't pan or move anywhere near as wel as other games I've played and it's so temprimental about things blocking its movement that I couldn't see where to go at some points - going into 3rd person view was the only way to unjam it. It doesn't pan low or high enough. Have the time I couldn't tell if I was by a rock or a gaping hole.

The characterisation is poor - Daxter is definately not hilarious. It's a good idea poorly executed. Getting a game character to say slightly rude words and bounce around in a not-quite slapstick way doesn't do it for me.

Buzz! Master Quiz (PSP)

The PSP incarnation of the highly popular Buzz series of quiz games could have gone one of three ways. It could have been a disastrous attempt to capture the entire complexity of the full PS2 games. Likewise, it could have been an over simplified, stripped down piece of garbage. Instead, they wisely took the third option and landed it squarely in between. Its not so simple as to be boring - you can still select characters and have several game modes to choose from. Anyone who has played the originals will not be in unfamiliar territory, but there are a couple of unique modes for the PSP. And while its not as fully featured as the PS2 versions, that would only serve to hinder its "portable" status.

Siren Blood Curse - BDR (PS3)

Like the others before me, i too purchased this from the psn store. Its a brilliant game...great graphics and very atmospheric and dark. I would advise people to purchase the game on disc as the downloads themselves,even though they are good value for what you pay, do take up alot of your memory (around 9gb in total for the 12 episodic levels ) and can take up alot of your time to download. If you liked Silent Hill or the Resident Evil games then you will like this, plenty of characters to play though as the game swaps between them allowing you to view the storyline through different perspectives. One of the better levels is when you play as little Bella,sneeking your way around a hospital....if you thought silent hills hospitals were bad....you aint seen nothing yet!!
