THis is possibly the worst simulator ever made, it becomes a struggle to play beacuse it is so bad, do not buy unless mentally ill.

Hidden & Dangerous 2: Sabre Squadron (Expansion Pack PC)

Ive just finished sabre squadron, having played H&D 1 and 2 years ago.

What a game. The missions are so varied. The music is repetitive but superb. The way you can get in and drive any vehicle you find. The missions are just such fun, the outstanding one for me was defending a bridge across the ravine from the advancing Italians, but every mission was memorable. What a game.

Criticisms. Destroying a tank seems random - sometimes they can take several hits sometimes just one. There were bugs in the original 2 games that drove me crazy but no problems at all in Sabre Squadron. Its just a superb game and I cannot wait for H+D3.

First off, this game is ok, but nothing special. You team is sooo unbeleivably stupid. The graphics are Average, but not what you expect from an Xbox game. The packaging is misleading as on the back It shows excellent graphics and scenery which are noware to be found in the game. I purchased the game from Gamestation for 37.99, a crime when it is on Amazon for a measly 14 squids. It is priced correctly on Amazon for what it is,a budget game. I don't know how the Marines use this as a training tool, you character or team don't seem to have any clip, and can walk through objects enemies, and even you! Buy it if you are looking for a cheap game, as it is quite good.

Vietcong Purple Haze (PS2)

I don't know about this one. The gameplay is fairly hard, but not too hard, and there IS A LOT OF SWEARING (someone else complained about this, but just to tell them that this is meant to be set in 60's/70's Vietnam war, and you are in the army, not shooting cardboard cut-outs in a nice sunny field. Army captains and other high-ranked soldiers are usually very cruel to their soldiers they are meant to be helping. The profound, disgusting language gives it a sense of realism, showing that not all soldiers are nice).
Overall though, the game is quite fun. The weapons you get are good, and there are loads. But one problem is that is doesn't show Vietnam realistically. The jungles are NOT dense, like Vietnam, there aren't many VC' to actually ... Read More:

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (Wii)

from: Take 2 Interactive

I bought this game because I recently got a Wii and Im a fan of the Fantastic Four. I was expecting a cheaply made game after reading the reviews. The other reviews mention a glitch where everything crashes and a loud noise is heard, that did occur for me aswell. I was progressing through level 1 and everything froze and the noise came on, I was forced to restart my Wii console. Fortunately I had enjoyed the game so far so I decided to give the game another go. Since then I have not ever had that same problem again, so if your thinking about buying this game, don't let that stop you, its a very rare problem with this game.

Back onto the game now. The graphics are better than you would think. They certainly aren't the worst graphics on ... Read More:

This game is an all time classic - must have for WW2 fans

Missions are excellent, the vast array of equipment and weapons make it even better and when you finish all missions, try the multiplayer which is amongst the best for ww2 games. The mp is a lot more realistic than the battlefield games and can will keep you up late for many nights

Chrome

from: Take 2 Interactive

I don't usually play FPS games, I leave that to my son. But Chrome was a special offer price and we bought it to try. It's proven to be good fun and personally I think it's better than Halo - Combat Evolved.
Some reviewers complain about jerky control and long load times, but the truth is, Chrome needs a highish spec machine to run. I have a 1.3GHz Duron with 512MB + GeF4 MX440 which struggles to run single player Chrome in "safe mode" with all settings set to "low". The load times are very long, the frame rate poor and control response (movement, aiming and firing) can be grim. I also have an Athlon64 2.0GHz with 512MB + FX5900, Chrome flies on that system with all settings up on "high". The load times are a few seconds, all controls respond ... Read More:

This was one of the first games my brother bought on the PC,He loves most 'hack-em-ups',Severance,Diablo he even got Crusaders of Might and Magic, unfortunately when I came to play it on my new PC we discovered it doesn't work on XP,so I got the PS2 version, can't be too different can it?
This, without a doubt is one of the worst conversions of a game I've ever played, even the appaling Shadowman on the Playstation is better than this.
The PC was 'save anywhere'the PS2 has checkpoints and since it's on a 'blue' disc takes upwards of a minute to load each section,Hell! some bits take longer to load than to complete!,the lack of any 'quick save' or 'marks'like in Dragon's Blood becomes a real bugbear as there are certain set pieces that require a great ...
