A decent enough game, although if you have the awesome and mighty Doom 3, or Quake 4, then Prey will not offer anything much different.

Warlords makes Civilization a little more violent (the clue is in the name). It is easier and more rewarding to win by domination and conquest. When I was starting to tire of the original, Warlords added another six months or more of playtime. Excellent value.

Max Payne (PC CD)

I got this because I enjoyed Max Payne 2. Maybe I've become jaded but I didn't enjoy this nearly as much. With 2 I got completely involved in the story and the comic book style narrative bits were really good - In this one they are weak and I skipped most of them.

IMPORTANT: This wouldn't run for me until I downloaded the software patch - I could do the training on low res but after that it bombed every time. The patch fixed it.

Sid Meier's Pirates (PSP)

Firstly, i think that playing online against other people around the world is cool!! the aim of the game is to become the most feared pirate in the 16th century!! there are many different ways to succeed, the best way is probably to kill the other pirates, finding long lost relatives, buried treasure and taking over all of the islands. this is a great adventure game for those who have time for it, "Yerr think yerr can beat me, Jacob (rank 1st), yep, im the only 1 to be inducted into the hall of fame. :P

Jade Empire: Special Edition (PC DVD)

In the vein of other great Bioware RPGs like KOTOR, Jade Empire features a top notch story in a fantastical setting based on mythical ancient China full of deities, celestial plots, spirits, scheming villains and cool looking martial arts. Full of memorable characters with distinct and quirky personalities rendered in brilliant graphics that portray a vibrant beautiful world (they're good even by today's standards thanks to the great lighting effects). In my opinion any game with characters such as "Henpecked Hou", "Kang the Mad" and "Sir Frederick Ponce Von Fonttlebottom the Magnificent Bastard" deserves 5 stars!

The plot is classic bioware story telling as well I won't say more to spoil it but it is reminiscent of the KOTOR plot (to me anyway) in terms of its structure. ... Read More:

Sid Meier's Pirates (Xbox)

Sid meier's pirates is a great game for all ages. It works on the xbox 360. There is a massive variety of things to do like sneak into ports, duel with pirates, fight pirate ships, attack a city, dance and lots more. You can play this game again and again without being bored. I would really recommend it.

NHL 2K7 (Xbox 360)

I love all Ice Hockey games, which includes the 2K7 title.
Having downloaded the NHL '08 demo I was instantly hooked and went straight down to blockbuster to swap all the games I didn't play anymore for an NHL title. The only title they had was the 2K7 product so I thought "how bad can it be" went home and looked at some reviews and went back and got it. I do enjoy the game, and the graphics etc are great, but if you are thinking of getting an NHL title, get the EA Sports one as the control system is so much more natural, it makes the in game experience much more exciting (particuarly the shoot-offs).

NBA 2K8 (PS2)

I had the last years installment and i was hugely impressed by the quality of the game. It was far better than the frankly awful live series. However 2k8 is practically the same game as last years. The only thing to change are the rosters and some new animations. Nba 2k8 is still a great game but is too similar to last year's game.
