this game is great if you like tacticle shooters like me but if you like the good old shooting anything in site i wouldn't waste your money . even though the bodys look a bit blocky the graphics are pretty good . the problem is that when you give out the most simplest order one minute the team members saying he can't carry out the order the next minute were getting blown up by a stray terrorist. don't get me wrong though this is good.

I bought this game brand new as soon as it was released and even for £30 it was a bargain. The storyline is fun and you can even get paid for smashing stuff. With a slight twist in the story, the amusing and sardonic voice over of the commentator and the great ending (save just before the end and play both choices(for the best laugh get the girl)) make this a must for drinks, song and a fun night at home.(Beer, beer, beer tiddly beer, beer, beer) I was singing this for months, brilliant.

I was a fan of the original splinter cell when it first came out. However what put me off that otherwise brilliant game was the very linear nature of the levels. Having played through the first level of Chaos Theory I can say that the levels appear less linear and there are more options available to the ever gritty Sam Fisher.
Gameplay wise I found the control to be a touch clunky - although I suspect this may be my PC showing its age and some tweaking of the game settings should fix this. The end of level stats give some replayability of the the "got to get 100%" variety, the game also seems to reward you with higher stats for taking a non violent approach which often gets you thinking in-game, "How do I get past these guards without kiling ... The `Survival Horror' genre is a very busy one: you have the Resident Evils and Silent Hills at the top and then a lot of lesser imitators at the bottom. I'm happy to say that this game sits somewhere in the middle.
I like this game, it a good solid game. The story isn't really there and seems to be big gaps in what story there is, but you're not playing it for that - you're playing for zombies on a boat!!!!! Come on as far as concepts go it equals Snakes On A Plane.
The gameplay is fun and fairly simple and this game is more reliant on action then puzzle which for people like me who just fancy messing about on something every now and then is perfect. I loved walking around the boat and shooting the fast moving zombies, brilliant.

Not usually a big fan of stealth games (always found MGS quite slow and boring) but i'd heard good things about the splinter cell series and decided to give it a chance.
Big mistake, played it for a few days and got fed up with it. The most frustrating game i've ever played, here's why:
1. the objectives are so vague it renders them utterly pointless (i.e. 'find the black box' - you have no idea where or how to start looking)
2. every time you move it seems to make a huge amount of noise (even when you're crouching and there's no one around - how the hell can you jeapordise the mission when nobody is around to hear your footsteps?!!!)
and 3. if you sneak up on someone and they notice you, firing several bullets into ... Read More:

How very very disappointing, frustrating is not the word for it, a complete waste of money. Steer well clear if you are a beginner, or even if you know some french.(there is nothing on it for you)(A level perhaps) This game just puts you right off learning. The games dont really help, just a load of difficult french words chucked at you as you play, frustrating and very off putting, with no help as to what they mean whilst you are playing. Why cant they have made it like the DS french coach level 1 which has sound along with so many other fun and very helpful qualities. Even the setting up for more than one player caused many a frustration and handsets being chucked at the telly.

Now, I expect that after sitting through Peter Jackson's film of the same name you'd get the feeling you'd want to be Kong. Well after sitting through it myself in my then nearest local multiplex two years ago I was quite keen myself, especially after playing the demo where you take on the V-Rex's.
However this, to me, is a game that's more style over substance. What I am trying to say is that upon first playing the game you think it's great but the novelty soon wears off. The graphics are nice for an old Xbox but the gameplay simply isn't indepth enough when you play as either Kong or Jack and to round it off, there isn't really any secrets or anything sepctaular to unlock upon completion of the game. The game starts off rather hard in places but then it soon gets really easy ... Read More:

This game is a real gem. It has a fantastic story, engaging characters, humour that is actually funny, an immersive world and a talking pig. The works, basically.
The gameplay is simple and the controls are, for the most part, very intuitive. The story unravels at a satisfying pace, and the style of play changes just often enough to keep you interested - one task will see you racing hovercrafts, for example, and the next will see you fighting, sneaking around or gathering information.
The bonus system is especially good. To earn extra upgrades and money, you must photograph examples of all the different species on the planet. This is beautifully implemented - there's something so pleasing about pausing in your tracks to get a snap of a new type of bird or fish, and there's ... Read More:
