My teen aged daughter is totally addicted to it and won't stop playing. Great game and easy to use. If you don't know if you like this sort of thing then start with the free trial versions available on the 'net. All the disks installed with no problems on the Vista platform (although the AofE free trial from the 'net doesn't).

I say stick with it as some of the characters are a tad verbose, the priest's dialogue goes on for months!!,the story is very intriguing and April as the reluctant hero is fantastic, none of the puzzles are too obscure, save for the stones one,and overall it beats most other point and click hands down,I actually had to buy two copies as my first split in half!!,it's actually a fairly sizeable game too although there is a lot of going over old ground.

Generously, although it's easy to miss it on the box, this Titans add-in comes with three CDs and includes the full original Age of Mythology's game as well [great if you don't have the game already, but we already did]. The game activation codes are hidden under the CDs on the back of the case insert and, once loaded, it slickly automatically updates itself in a few minutes (internet access required).
My son's (aged 12) review: "In this add-on you get Atlantians and more places, and everything is more interesting than the original 'Age of Mythology' game [which is also included]. Plus you now get the Titans (Cronos, Promethean, etc...) as friends or enemies. There are new maps, new units, new god powers." Settlement house/temple/boat ... Read More:

Don't buy this game, because if you get the add-on Age of Mythology 'The Titans' instead [that costs a few quid more] it includes this complete 'Age of Mythology' game as well. The Titans game+expansion pack triple CD set is also by Xplosiv and looks pretty identical to this game pack. The Titans add-on is pretty good and better than the original game (you get Atlantians, more maps, more god powers and naturally the Titan creatures) and it is worth the extra outlay. Plus you get all the tribal war sims house/temple/boat building activities of the original, with free roam and campaign modes, and lots of interesting mythological creatures.
PC requirements for these games are a minimal 450MHz PC, 16Mb graphics card and 128Mb system RAM (probably ... Read More:

What do you get when you combine 'Age of Empires' with 'Sid Meier's Civilization' and add a little bit of 'Risk' to the mix? The answer: Rise of Nations. To be fair though the game is much more than the sum of its parts, and it does offer a few interesting new ideas that put it above your usual historical RTS.
Anyone who's familiar with Empire Earth and other games of its type will feel right at home with this game. You are basically given command of one nation (there is a choice of up to 18 of them including the British, Germans, Romans, Aztecs, Chinese, Nubians and Turks) whose destiny you must guide through eight historical epochs, from ancient times to the modern era.
Build cities, research technologies, construct wonders, establish ... Read More:

I was pleased to see this expansion of Dungeon Siege, as the original game had been fun. Trouble is there are too many annoyances to play this through to the bitter end. For starters, you constantly find spells that can't be used. Nature Magic is a skill that doesn't seem to ever increase in strength. My main archer had increased to level 10 while the secondary Nature Magic user was stuck down at 5 (and had started at 3 I think). The real trouble though is in the plot development and mapping. There's just no feedback to indicate where to go, so you find yourself going round in circles. There's a map which shows immediate surroundings, but that isn't labelled, and can't be zoomed out enough to get a clue as to where to go, or where you've been. The level of ... Read More:

This is great as it allows the ps2 to output resolutions 480p / 576p / 720p and 1080i.
Okay the higher resolutions do shrink the picture but you adjust the picture size on your h.d.t.v. to make the picture big again.
Not all of my games load either on the Xploder HDTV Player but just using the lead that comes with the Xploder HDTV Player has improved the picture quality.
When the Xploder HDTV Player does load my game
the difference in picture quality with the Xploder HDTV Player software is very smooth/sharp without any jagged lines
and I can see a lot more detail in the games now.
I found 720p to be the best resolution for my h.d.t.v. and 720p does
display some great colours.

Bought this game for my 12yo daughter. She kept playing non-stop quite happily, and to my amazement, two hours later she called me in to see the closing credits!! I never knew games could be over so quickly. Beware!
