My son Josh (aged 7 3/4) and I (a bit older) both love this game. Josh even prefers it to Pokemon currently which is saying something. I bought the game just before Christmas, and since Josh appropriated it from me, most of his Christmas presents haven't had much of a look in yet (Santa will not be happy!).

The battles are the main element of the game. The battles can be quite challenging to win without losing any of your team. You really do get to care about your team so we often find ourselves repeating a chapter several times (or more) to avoid losing anyone.

For a gameboy game, this is simply fantastic, probably the best I've played! Similar to the playstation version, just transfered to GBA, so of course the graphics suffer, but they are still good for GBA. Simple to pick-up and play, but the later levels are challenging, so you get your money's worth!
I cannot recommend this enough, and the best bit is that you can get it now for a few quid! Buy it!

Mediocre is the best word I can think of for this game. It is basically your bog-standard platform game. Nothing really special. There aren't enough levels and some of them are quite repetitive, but on the other hand there are some quite inventive levels and mini games. Some small bits are also quite inventive, like using Oompa Loompas to help you, which involves a bit of strategic thinking. The one thing that annoyed me was that you cannot save until you get to the end of the level, and some of the levels are quite long. There are no checkpoints so if you lose all your lives you have to go right back to beginning of the level, even if you were nearly at the end! Although this game says 3+ my brother who is 4 still found it quite tricky the game is also way to short its a pointless and rubbish game DO NOT BUY

'The Hobbit' video game for the Nintendo GBA is very fun to play! The graphics and sound effects are brilliant! The music (score) is superb, not annoying, and the gameplay is great: lasting a descent amount of time. Fighting goblins, wolves, and all kinds of other evil beasts in this game is very fun! The plot of the game follows author J.R.R. Tolkien's magnificent story very well! I highly recommend 'The Hobbit' video game for the Nintendo GBA to those who are true fans of author J.R.R. Tolkien's world.

I dont often complete games- usualy i get bored and move on to the next one when im half way through. I managed to finish this game in a little over 6 hours- it was that easy. i wont argue that the gameplay itself wasnt fun, it just felt like you were rushed through the game without having much of a chance to just explore. You also level up so quickly that by the time you're half way through the battles are so easy that u never need to use potions to restore health- just wait til you level again.
on the plus side- and this is a big plus, i was addicted for the whole 6 hours i played (spread over 2 days), the plot stays pretty much to the book and the graphics are great.

..being a racing game, it has tracks. They are easy to follow. if you try to take a short cut you get slowed down so follow the tracks.

I really like this game - its fun, sure its not mario kart but its a decent change and well worth the price.

This is a great game like Mario Golf also on the gba.You start off choosing if you are boy or girl right or left handed.Then you start first you start off in the Junior courts then you work you way up to senior and then varsity.On the way mini games are unlocked for your power shot and how you move when you move and play a game.For example bicep pump and swift spin and Treadmill all increase your stats on your power shot.When you get into the top three in varsity you get to go to the Island open and compete against all of the other experienced Tennis players.If you win you get given a trophy and put in the hall of fame.Then you get given a letter to play in Mario world playting all Peach Luigi Donkey Kong....You can also play doubles with you partner and work your way up.There ...
