I've tried other controllers for the PS2, and in the end there is no other controller quite like the Dualshock 2. The buttons on other controllers often require quite a conscious effort to use them, but the Dualshock 2's analogue buttons are actually analogue - press lightly and you'll get one response, press a little harder and you'll get another, and so on. The Dualshock 2 seems to last as long as any other controller and is simply better quality, so there's no real competition there.
As for the usefulness of a Dualshock 2 now that the PS3 is out - the Sixaxis controller bundled with the PS3 doesn't have rumble functionality, and a Dualshock 3 with rumble and Sixaxis tilt sensors will currently set you back quite a bit compared ... Read More:

this peice of hardware for the wii is a good idea but it has a good few flaws.
1. the remotes only charge if you have the wii console on standby mode which takes the power of 15 watts of electricity. this costs you around 45 pounds a year to run.
2. the battries it takes are AAA battries and only lasts a few hours.
3. if your playing the console by yourself you can charge the batteries but unfortuanatly you wouldnt play for longer than 10 hours would you?.
4. there is an aa battery charger which is useless then this only tales aaa batteries.
the best thing about this is it is a good stand for the wii and it has cool blue led lights around the console and controller ports(there are two controller ports) which is very ... Read More:

Ahhh... Nintendo. Nobody can beat Nintendo when it comes to the handheld gaming market. Nokia had a go with the N-Gage. I've only ever seen one N-Gage. And Sony had a slightly more respectable go with the PSP, which, while fun, broke fairly easily, became scratched and generally fell out of favour among those who wanted a more pick-up-and-play gaming experience.
The DS Lite improves on Nintendo's original release by making the console thinner, lighter and considerably better to look at. It's clear the Japanese gaming gurus took onboard all of the initial criticisms (of which there were not many) and built something that defies all expectations of handheld gaming.
To start with: the graphics. 2d graphics are crystal clear with bright, ... Read More:

I've had this for a few weeks now so have had chance to use it quite a bit before reviewing. I originally picked this particular one as it did look quite stylish and also had good reviews. Here's how I found it...
The good points are it's look, the fan operates very quietly - if you have the volume at a reasonable level on your game you probably won't even notice it, the switch to turn the fan and smart looking LED lights off is a nice touch, the cables of the nunchucks can be neatly wrapped up and tucked away behind the nunchuck itself instead of hanging out the front of the unit so it always looks tidy.
The only negative points in my opinion are the lack of instructions - I had to read reviews on here before I even realised there ... Read More:

The PSP is really a multimedia player, supporting photos, MP3's and video on it's large screen, as well as a decent internet and games support.
The games and UMD's released for it, however, are a joke.
I think that Sony should scrap the idea of a UMD based console and re-release it as a games compatable multimedia player, with a faster processor, built in solid state memory (like the ipod has) and a touch screen & stylus.
Either way, a good quality multimedia player as it is, at a low price with (now) cheap memory.

The headset was great for almost a month until the actual plastic part on the headset broke off, meaning the earpiece and microphone were left. So I had to bring in my own way of holding the headset up by strapping a hairband around my face to hold the microphone up. The design overall was flimsy and can be broken very easily. It stopped working tonight.

It's quite simple really :). In terms of technology now it's all about being wireless. So if you are looking to buy a new controller, for the extra dosh it is definitely worth buying this one and not the wired one.
No cables, no mess, no fuss. Plus the black looks much cooler than the white.

This nunchuk is slightly cheaper than the official nintendo nunchuk. It has a rubber grip around the edge of it which makes it easier to hold. I'd recommend saving yourself some money and going for this cheaper but better quality nunchuk!
