Atari Jaguar Official Gamer's Guide Book (Jaguar)Childrens Toy Shop > Video Games > Atari Jaguar from: Atari This book was published before the explosion of internet game FAQ and cheat sites so it's not as relevant now as it once was. However, it's a well written book with walkthroughs and cheats for many of the Jaguar's best games (AvP, Doom, Iron Soldier, Raiden, Cannon Fodder, Zool 2 etc). There are also interviews with Jeff "YAK" Minter and the programmer of Fight For Life for added interest. It's a shame that the book does not include the full roster of games originally advertised as none of the CD titles or later games (Ultravortek, Defender 2000, Missle Command 3d etc) are present. . Fever Pitch Soccer (Jaguar)Childrens Toy Shop > Video Games > Atari Jaguar from: Atari Sensible soccer seems to get more attention and positive reviews on the Jaguar but I much prefer this. It is fast, perhaps a little too fast, and has an arcade / cartoonish approach. Good fun but definitely no FIFA or International Superstar Soccer as on rival systems. Best soccer game on Jaguar? - I'm sure opinions will differ! |
