This is a bright, colourful and challenging platformer for the Jaguar. There are similarities to the "Sonic" games here but overall Zool 2 is wackier and more frustrating.

As 2D games go this is impressive. The graphics are cartoonish and clear, and the sound is above average for a Jaguar cart. It has aged quite well although it's not much more than a revamped 16-bit game. You can choose between two characters with some minor variations in play and there are plenty of levels.

As the game progresses it gets frustratingly difficult but it is seriuosly addicitive providing hours and hours of gaming.

This is the game that acted as the foundation for Doom and all the other first-person shooters in the world. Although ID (DOOM, QUAKE) Softwares first venture in this genre is dated now it's still very enjoyable.

Set during WW2 in Nazi Germany (with no true historical content whatsoever) you have to kill waves of enemy soldiers to ultimately confront Hitler himself as the final Boss.

The graphics are very cartoonish but this gives the game a certain charm. There are loads of maps to explore although it all happens on one plane. There are no ledges or stairs. The animation is pretty good and the sound perfectly suits the game.

Baldies is one of those games that get's right under your skin. It's an absolute classic and deserves to be up there with Populous, Tomb Raider, Dark Planet, Mario etc.. It's Fun, sick (in a cute way), addictive and simply awesome.. This is one of the best versions available.

One of the best Jag games going. 16 missions each one requiring different tactics to the previous one. The final mission is awsome both in scale and style. If you think you can simply pick all the best weapons and storm your way through each mission you won't get far. You need an understanding of what is going on around you and how best to deal with the individual foe as well as strategy. You could say this is a thinking thug's game then again, perhaps not.
