I suspect the developers had a foot each in two doors during the making of 'Art of Murder: FBI Confidential'. On the one hand the game attempts a light hearted approach to the murder mystery genre by the likes of 'Broken Sword: Knights Templar', with its low graphic violent content, little to no swearing, friendly heroine and more adventurous locations, yet at the same time, the visuals and the subject matter give the feeling they were after a more mature route to that of 'Still Life' and 'Gabriel Knight' also.
What we get is a game that on many cases works adequately enough for fans of both parties, but loses any chance of having a distinct identity that could have made this game stand out of the long list of current mediocre adventures ... Read More:

I got this agme last month after having blown all my wages on a skiing holiday. It kept me indoors for a period of time long enough to pass the days before pay day. The graphics are amazing, the turn based combat is actually more fun than I expected and the characters are quite indepth. I personally like to wind Carth up a great deal, but in a way that doesn't gain darkside points. The story is quite convincing and the twist futher on in the game is top notch. The alien worlds are nice just explore and the musical changes when you start a fight is so well done.
I would say this game is great although I am about 4 years behind and need to stay indoors this month as I will blow my wages again.

Firstly ive rated 3 stars because its in the middle and ive not actually played enough to give a fair rating. The graphics and first looks are amazing!!! but be warned there is absolutely no training, starting missions or tutorials, you are thrown straight into the cockpit straight into space, there u go get on wiv it, this immediately has put me right off, whilst i am definately willing to put in the time and learn everything about this game (if i can manage to pull myself away from world of warcraft) those of you who are looking for a pick up and play game would might like to think again. i cannot stress enough the detail and beautiful graphics of this game (if u have the system to run it of course) but i imagine u would have to play the first in the X series ... I got this game last year, I saw it on the internet and the more i saw pictures and video's of it the more i wanted it. I got the game and completed most of the missions and then there was a update then i lost all of my progress which meant i needed to restart all over again. It is a fun game though just sailing in some of the worlds best boats. You can change the weather to what ever you want and change the time of day. Make it a nice calm summer's night with a sunset or make it a winters night with huge waves and rain. The graphics are very good in the game but i feel the sounds could improve. Online play is great very fun and i have spent many hours on it sailing and chatting away to people. I really like this game but feel that there is a few things missing to make it ... Read More:

AoE has a sound pedigree & the Conquerors' Expansion is the icing on the cake.
The facility to customise your own camaigns is irresistible & enthralling.
It has excellent graphics & a number of levels on which to play helps prevent early frustration & encourages learning.
This is ideal for both the seasoned game campaigner or the absolute beginner.
Hours of endless escapism - fabulous!

Felt compelled to write my first Amazon review. I played most of the point and click games out there including the other great titles from this publsher (dark fall etc), however just to warn any avid adventure gamer how dissapointing this game was! No atmosphere and unengaging can't understand WHY its had so many good reviews!

This game differs a lot from it's predecessors. As an example, a lot of the game modes from the previous Unreal Tournaments have been simply thrown out which spoils the fun a bit in my opinion. Cutting out game modes like Invasion really dissapointed me when I first ran the game. That being said, the introduction of a different plot made me interested at first. After time though, the fun seemed to wash away as playing the same games on slighty different maps killing the same people over and over gets a little repetitive. Sure. it's great fun for one-offs like if you're bored and looking to kill half an hour but I can't recommend it for constant playing. What happened to Invasion? Sheesh.

this game is loads of fun and another great hit from the creators of age of empires. I have had no problems with this game but it takes up quite a bit of memory !

I may be the first to admit, but having played through the entireity of both Black + White games I found that although it has it's flaws BW2 really grew on me with time.
OK, so the actual gameplay was disappointingly short, but once you've completed it you can really appreciate the other things. The BEAUTIFULLY crafted landscapes. The sensual + brilliant soundtrack score. The pleasure of watching a villager progress from infant, to adult, to the retirement home.
Lionhead games have never really been about 'completing the game', they were about appreciating the little things along the way, but if you are the sought of person who blitzes through games just to get to the end then this isn't the sought of game for you.

This expansion pack adds to the already brilliant Civ 4, the most addictive game ever. They seem to have fine tuned aspect of the game to make it more like real life especially religion and diplomacy. You are now severely punished for your civilisation having a different religion which is exactly what happens in real life. They have added great new units such as cruise missile, tactical nuke and better air defence units. A lot of people complained on here of bugs in the game, these have now been fixed in a patch so you most download that before you play this game. I do have a couple of negative points, but these are personal gripes. I think the new spying system is very intensive and a big distraction, I would prefer to tone it down a notch. I also have not got my head around corporations and ... Read More:
