I have had this game since launch date, however, it is only recently I have really started to play it. At first when I played it it just didn't really feel right and I didn't get into the game at all. I think this was mainly because I was enjoying myself too much on call of duty 3 online which is great fun.
However, this is one of those games that you have to play a lot to really appreciate how damn good this game actually is. I've seen many people moan on about how short the campaign is, I say it is just the right lenght, it took me 6-7 hours to complete the whole game, via xbox live with a friend I might add which is a brilliant idea, however, I do think the story could have been explained a bit more as if you read into the story,, ... I must admit that although I am a huge fan of the Madden NFL series, over the past few years I haven't really noticed any differences, other than graphics and rosters, when I have purchased the new game each year, leaving me feel a little ripped-off for trading in last year's edition for less than a tenner to fork out £40 or more for the new one, but with Madden 09 it is completely worth it.
There are now so many more updates than previous years (as well as updated graphics and rosters) including the" My Skill" difficulty setting which assesses you while you play to give you a personalised difficulty, so when playing either on single player or online, it gives you opponents at a similar skill level as yourself. There is also the Virtual ... Read More:

Mario party is a brilliant game. The board game isn't that good, however the mini games are the best! Some are really random like racing around on bar of soap(my speciality) or taking pictures of the other players. I played it with my friends on a 21 hour coach journey and it made time fly. The graphics are like most Mario games(in other words great) and all your favourite characters are there....Yoshi, Peach, Toady and of course Mario. I recomend it to good gamers age 9-50. So to sum up this game I'd say....BUY IT NOW!!!

Ahhh... Nintendo. Nobody can beat Nintendo when it comes to the handheld gaming market. Nokia had a go with the N-Gage. I've only ever seen one N-Gage. And Sony had a slightly more respectable go with the PSP, which, while fun, broke fairly easily, became scratched and generally fell out of favour among those who wanted a more pick-up-and-play gaming experience.
The DS Lite improves on Nintendo's original release by making the console thinner, lighter and considerably better to look at. It's clear the Japanese gaming gurus took onboard all of the initial criticisms (of which there were not many) and built something that defies all expectations of handheld gaming.
To start with: the graphics. 2d graphics are crystal clear with bright, vibrant ... Read More:

I got this as part of a package with my new Nintendo DS. It's a pretty fun little game, with some clever little touches (such as the fact that WALL-E has to compact rubbish into cubes to throw at switches/knock out his enemies). I also liked the fact that some levels you play as WALL-E, others you play as EVE.
However, the graphics are a little dull sometimes, and it can get a rather frustrating, as WALLE-E tends to fall into pits with distressing ease (though this may be due to the fact this was the first game I've ever played on the DS and I was a bit clumsy with the controls!) Thank goodness there are regular save-points on every level.
The cutscenes between levels that move the story along are excellent, done in a visually distinctive, ... Read More:

I bought this game after reading positive reviews for it on Amazon.
Despite some novel weaponary and interesting backgounds, you'll quickly find the gameplay limiting. The most obviously flawed area, is that when you're injured you just need to hide for a few seconds and your health magically restores itself. This coupled with the fact that the game is far too short, means that it is very easy to complete.
If you're after a first person shooter, buy Resident Evil 4 instead. If you can get past the whole 'zombie' thing, you'll find the gameplay much more involving and fun.
Time will tell if the new 'Call of Duty' or 'Brothers in Arms' will improve on this or not, but at the moment RE4 is the game to beat.

First produced for the X-Box, Mass Effect, shows its origins. Much like previous X-Box games that have been ported to the PC or developed for both platforms this title feels neutered and overly simplistic. Which is a shame because the game shows great potential.
There are four basic weapons, Pistol, Shotgun, Assault Rifle, and Sniper Rifle. However these all employ the same basic model, only the skin is different. This seems somewhat silly considering the different physiologies of the alien races. And a missed opportunity to highlight the different combat doctrines of the alien races. The overly simply model continues with the armours and most of the explorable planets, which are essentially the same.
These cables are great value, and they're exactly the same thing that Nintendo would charge you £20 for!
For those of you who have seen an Xbox 360 or PS3 in HD on a HDTV might be disapointed however, since, whilst these cables are not at fault, the Wii itself is.
The Wii will not display at 720p/1080i/1080p (HDTV resolutions) but will in fact only display at 480i/576i (standard definition) or 480p (enhanced definition). Whilst there is a significant difference when compared to the composite cables (red white and yellow) there is not much difference to be made if you are already using an S-Video cable or Scart cable.
