Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly (PS2)

Having enjoyed the previous 3 Spyro games, this one just wasn't up to scratch.

The 3-d graphics were a bit too much, however the scenery is very good and the detail of the worlds are lovely (falling leaves, fireflies, water ripples.) I found the levels too large and my hunt for gems and dragonflies became a chore rather than a pleasure. I missed the fun mini-games of its predecessors (they are some but not as many) and there is also no other playable characters this time - just Spyro.
The game was riddled with bugs and I was constantly finding Spyro stuck in a wall or out of camera view and the levels take ages to load. Often smashed treasure urns would make no noise when head butted but around a minute later you would ... Read More:

At first glance this looks a very good game.

Lots of options, good achievements, and unique captain your country mode to boot.

But after playing my first tournament with england I won it on pro difficulty so straight away I had to question the difficulty level.

Was it enjoyable? yes to a certain extent it ws, amazing graphics and attention to detail is incredible. Commentary is probably the best of any football game on any console EVER. It really is superb. Some good scrambles in the 18 yard box and fantastic fan detail and singing. But is it as enjoyable as Konamis, admittedly, declining PES game. I would still say no.

Okay it's a bit like The Sims 2: Deluxe (PC DVD) but not as good you can't do up the house like in the sims and the same when you make your housewife and family you can't play as any of the other housewives from the show the mini games can be fun if you are in the mood overall the game is a bit weak but has good story that will keep you hooked so i give this a 8/10 if you like this game buy The Sims 2: Deluxe (PC DVD).

Video games are a case of horses for courses. Sophisticated teens won't find much to thrill them in this simplistic arcade-style game aimed, I should say, at 10 year olds. However, the combo moves are simple enough for a savvy youngster to master and the characters' movement is arcade-style, moving in two dimensions through a three-dimensional world.

A storyline involving the evil Lord Zedd and a plot to destroy the timeline - and every Power Ranger with it - enables all the heroes from the TV series' history to make an appearance. There's plenty of fisticuffs and cool martial arts stuff, but it does take a lot of slogging through some very similar challenges on successive levels before anything genuinely new and interesting happens. Star Wars Episode 1: the Phantom Menace Platinum

I remember when I bought this in Autumn 1999. For the next month-two months upon purchasing it I was hooked. I thought this was the best Wars game yet and I'm a big wars fan me.

I loved the lightsaber fights, the gun battles and sometimes just mucking about slaughtering the innocent villagers when I knew I would fail the mission anyway. I found the Escape From Theed mission where you have to escort Queen Amidala to safety a tough cookie though. Eventually I found my way through it.

Yes I'll admit that by todays standards there are a few glitches but sometimes it's just great to pick up and play.

This is one of the best Playstation games for children. It starts off with a training walkthrough which is fun as well as 'teaching' the controls.
In the main game there is enough to keep you occupied for weeks with several layers of gameplay so younger kids and older kids can enjoy it.
The gameplay consists of collecting ooze, scaring nerves which are a bit like pinochicco and collecting tokens. There are some mini races with Randall too. You can choose to be Mike or Sully in the game and they are amusing characters just as in the film (although slightly different but great voices).
My 5 year old has been able to pick up this game and it has been extremely entertaining and I've enjoyed playing it too - collecting ALL the tokens and scaring ... Read More:

Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity (PS2)

Much better than Sonic Riders, so if you enjoyed that, you'll love this! Less hectic, more unlockables, more characters, better courses, great to be able to change your gear in the middle of a race without having to pause the game.
If you buy this, you won't be disappointed.
If you don't buy this, I will be disappointed with you!

Hitman 2: Silent Assassin (PS2)

This is a fantastic game but can be very challanging at times mainly to get the Silent Assassin rank but nonetheless a good game. A vast improvment on the original but i recommend you buy that aswell. The disguise system does need to be improved, if you mistakenly press to hard on the L3 button you will be found out but i really recommend you buy this along with its two sequels.

Super Mario Bros - Deluxe (GBC)

this is a remake of the 1985 classic super mario bros that was originally on the nes. 8 worlds, 4 levels in each trying to save the princess. But apart from just a remake it also includes a generous helping of extras. it supports the gameboy printer. there are lots of rewards to collect, there is a challenge mode where you must find things in each level or complete it with a certain score. Then the thing that seals the deal for me is the super hard (yet much easier than it's original japenese release) is the real super mario bros 2 or the lost levels (it's not the one with the vegetables). This is one of the few places we westeners can play this hard sequel to a classic so just this is a reason to buy this game

Star Wars Galaxies: The Complete Online Adventures (PC CD)

I played the game for about 3 and a half years and to be honest if you dont mind all of the changes they made its not that bad. But if you have never played the game before then you may or may not like it as much as now unlike 2 years ago there are hundreds of jedi running around and they are not a Uber prof anymore but thay still have there place in the galaxie just like the other proffesions.

but if like me u have played it it has gone down hill but i think its geting back to be enjoyable again.

so my advice is to play the 10 Day free Trial and Only then if you like it Buy the Full game.
