Having owned a PC for the last 15 years, and taking on such old star wars classics such as Tie Fighter and moving on up to playing Star Wars games on other platforms, to buy a Star Wars game for my Xbox was a priority, and after having bought a few i was disappointed...Until BattleFront caught my eye. This game is truly unreal, allowing you to be an imperial , rebel or droid soldier right out there on the front lines battaling through some of the most famous planets and battles in Star Wars history. This game also looks amazing..with so much detail and most of all, Freedom. You can literally go where you want on the battlefield, enter any vehicle you see out there...from the mighty AT-AT to a simple landspeeder and use it to your advantage. ... Read More:

Sonic Rivals 2 (PSP)

I got this for xmas and the game is fun and I can play my favourite charecter Tails. The bad news is he can't fly just like in Sonic 2 game the Mega Drive. You can make Tails fly sometimes by pressing the 0 button on the PSP. It is still a good game!

This is a good basketball game, fun to play and very easy to get to grips with. The basic basketball skills can be mastered very quickly however the more complex moves take a little more practice but are satisfying when you get them right.

There are lots of differnt 'courts' available to play on, each with their own little characteristics and of course all the famous Mario characters are availble to play with (Such as Mario, Bowser, Luigi etc) as well as a few from the Final Fantasy universe.

My only critisim of the game is that it is very very easy to learn, i've only had the game a few hours and already I can beat the more advanced teams so it has the potential to get boring a little quickly. Also you can't actually play ... Read More:

Crash Bandicoot 3 - Platinum

As the title says, it's the least enjoyable of the PSone Crash games although thats nothing to be ashamed of and it still clearly warrants a 5 star rating. The Wumpa Bazooka is a great idea, the Motorcycle levels however are not. This is the easiest Crash (except the stupid Motorcycle) levels, but it still has longevity and is definitely worth purchasing if you haven't played it before. Naughty Dog just don't fail to disappoint.

The Sega Dreamcast was dropped right onto a rickety bridge from the moment it was released. Sega were in debt and losing money, and Sony were planning the PS2, which after years of typical set-backs, was released 2 Years later. But, for a just short time between 1999 and 2002, their was indeed a period where the Dreamcast had it's tight followers, which shamefully, wasn't for long enough.

1999. Ahh... those numbers spell lots of ££££, and for the first time in the history of commercialism, companies were making record numbers of them because of this new number... '2000'. And so what fitting year for a revolution to come about than the year before Millennium x 2? I can clearly remember the awe that surrounded the Dreamcast; such was it's excitement that I remember ... Blue Controller 64

In 2008, this is perhaps the most random review ever.. The N64 controller. But hell, i'm bored! As with anything N64 related, its too easy to get carried away back to those teen memories in the nineties, so I find myself bullet-pointing the most important parts...

Positives:

- The ergonomic design; no controller has ever been designed like this.
- The analog stick is perfectly placed, allowing real precision because it's right under your thumb, and you don't need to stretch for it.
- The Z button was also right under the analog stick section, allowing for better control.
- Nice innovation with the 'C' button section; a seclusion of small, yellow buttons that usually account for settings during gameplay, or camera angles.

I got this game after a pal recommended it to me, i THOUGHT it was going to be great. As soon as i had struggled past the dodgey menus i was greeted by poor screen-clips, blocky graphics and jerky controls (halo-style except 3rd person and a lightsaber... turns out terribley). but then again, i only bought it recently and it was bound to be dated by then. It was not totaly awful so i think 2 stars is about fair.
