Oddworld - Abe's Oddysee - Platinum

Released nearly 10 years ago, Oddworld:Abe's Oddessy remains the best platformer i have ever played. Combining great gameplay and stunning graphics (for the time) with a diverse and fully interactive world. I advise this for any gamer, especially someone dissapointed with newly released inadequate games.

This is one of the only games i have ever played through to the very end. It's true that for hard core gamers it probably wont take you too long to finish the game but its worth it for the journey!. There are lots of nice touches in this game e.g. the way Luigi whistles the theme tune! and the graphics are great(even when played on a Wii). The gameplay is simple enough once you get the hang of it and becomes a little harder against the 'portrait' ghosts where you have to think a bit more about when to attack. Make sure your controller will stand up to all the yellow C stick action as you suck those ghosts in!.

Visual Memory Unit

This is an awesomely intuitive memory card. The LCD screen, capable of displaying animations and even playing games while you are not on your Dreamcast is the best idea I've seen in years. The only problem I have with this, however, is that the capacity of the VMU is too small. Very often you will run out of room to save your games which is a shame. I would like to see an 8MB version of this or something like that, although I see it as highly unlikely.

The Sega Dreamcast was dropped right onto a rickety bridge from the moment it was released. Sega were in debt and losing money, and Sony were planning the PS2, which after years of typical set-backs, was released 2 Years later. But, for a just short time between 1999 and 2002, their was indeed a period where the Dreamcast had it's tight followers, which shamefully, wasn't for long enough.

1999. Ahh... those numbers spell lots of ££££, and for the first time in the history of commercialism, companies were making record numbers of them because of this new number... '2000'. I'm not a serious gamer, I don't really have the TIME to be a serious gamer, not enough time to master every single control technique. I like to be able to pick up the controller and have a decent game of football.

PES 5 is a really fun game, but I get the feeling it could have been so much better. Its great fun to play, looks great and flows along at a good pace. Its also great fun with two players but its a different story against the AI.

Long balls don't work, neither do through balls, the opposition has a sixth sense that tells them exaclty where the ball will go. Its impossible to score from free kicks, nearly all my shots seem to be blocked by the defender and why is it that every tackle results in a free kick to the opposition? ... Read More:

This game, as a platformer has a simple yet addictive goal. Recue all the mudokons (green aliens with hippy ponytails and emotional as cheese which is very emotional) by chanting by a ring of birds and creating a portal back to...where do they live?

What is the best thing about this game is the power possesion. By chanting he can posess a variety of creatures and even your own farts.

If your a sadistic person you can kill as many mudokons (and the rest) as long as you can progress. One of my favourite deaths has to be leading about five mudokuns with a running start and suddenly stopping while they all fall into a hole filled with guillotines and fleeches (leech body, crocodile mouth). And even the basic kills of slapping them to death is very satisfying. ... Read More:

This game is awesome; it is VERY hard, it is completable, just requires much patience! If you have Xploder the game is much easier, so I just orded it! I love the game; it's an easier start, harder to get on in life; well HEY, it's a life skill. It isn't a livley game as such, but is very, hmm, intresting. It hardly has a thing to do with the tv series, the only thing it has in common is you're mellenuim pyramid-necklace-thingy, and the cards! Please buy the game, or the TRUE spirit of why we use the cards will be shattered, and no Large duelist wants that do they? Yu-gi-oh fans should buy this as it's Yu-gi's alter ego who you play as, but Yu-gi for a while! Any fan of Yu-gi-oh should buy this, even if it is just an ounce of fanasim.

Many moons ago, this is the very first game I ever completed 100% and it brought such a sense of a brillance it makes you return and return and return back to it when your bored and want a fun game to play.

You play Jak and a village teenager set for destiny and futher things helping him is his best friend Daxter turned into a ..welll it seems a sort of talking ferret by the villianous black ooze that is littering the home world.
This game was a developement from the people that brought you Crash Bandicoot - i.e Naughty Dog. The Jax games now are far more enjoyable and playable than their earlier creation.
