WWF Royal Rumble

THQ have produced without out a shadow of a doubt created the greatest wrestling games of all time from WCW Revenge to the WWF Smack down series, so when I heard that they where to produce yet another grappling I jumped for, especially since it was for the Dreamcast. With the WWF license and offering up to 9 players on the screen at once WWF Royal Rumble, had me watering at the mouth, with the its smooth 128bit graphics not even with a hint graphical slow down or even pop up. So how could this game fail to deliver... well let me tell you.

NBA 2K2

i loved the first NBA 2k, and played it regularly since i got it about 18 months ago, so i couldn't wait to get hold of this (especially as the last version didn't get released here).
but when i did i was not at all dissapointed, it has been greatley improved in every area. the gameplay is now much more realistic (you can't block dunks and layups as easily, and passes can be intercepted to name a few improvenments).
the players now also look more realistic, and the players arms are now actually attached to their body.
there are loads more options inc franchise mode and street mode.
basically if u want a basketball game this is the best on any console. u wont be dissapointed

South Park: Chef's Luv Shack

South Park has been the cash cow of the last few years, and critics have loved to point this fact out. However, summer 1999 saw the release of the film, and that proved all those critics wrong. It was witty, outrageous, and nothing like the TV show, it was brilliant.
However, then you come to Luv Shack, and that feeling suddenly fades. Put simply, it's a virtual gameshow hosted by the silky smooth cantten chef (voiced by Isaac Hayes), where you play as one of the four stars of the show, Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny.
Sounds fun, but unfortunately despite some relatively humerous catchphrases it gets dull. To win you need to have a knowledge of pointless american trivia, something that no one will know well over here in good old blighty.

Looney Tunes Space Race

If anyone has ever played on Mario kart on the N64 your gonna love this game. Looney tunes space race is one of the best driving games out on the UNDER RATED dreamcast. This game allows you to play with all your favourite looney tunes. You first start off with characters such as bugs and daffy etc... but as you progress through the game you can actually unlock alot more.

Not only has this game got your standard race mode, it also contains multiplayer, challenge mode, time trial etc. basic gist is the more u play, the more you win, the more u unlock. the graphics on this game r great its wild and its fun. anyone who has a dreamcast seriously should buy this game you won't be dissapointed its not your average racing game this will keep you going (well depends ... UEFA Striker

Like many football games it's all to easy to score a goal. The AI for the defenders is poor and the keepers drop from intertnational to Sunday league standard as soon as a player gets inside the box. The most annoying thing is the lack of options, especially formations, where every single one plays 442, whichever you select. It's much better played with a friend, but even then you're still thinking "I wish it was ISS.....". I have enjoyed this game, but the longevity just isn't there.

This game is good but there is still something it lacks that games for the Playstation and PS2 don't. It is alright if you want to play a game that you just to take up some time but i wouldn't set my heart on saving for it. It is quite fun and the game play is good.

Most have seen the Red Arrows, but have you ever wondered what it would be like to fly in an air show with them? This is not a shooting game, infact you can't fire. This game is about doing an air display in top of the range planes ranging from the Nimrod, to the Mig 29. There's plenty of areas to perfrom,ranging from the open desert, to a small airfield, to the mountains, and then even Tokyo. The game plays great. There's plenty of designs of moves to do from the boton roll, to the loop, and even to perfroming certain shapes. The game is great fun to play, and is one that you'll always switch back to every so often. Ok, sure, there may be hardly any story line, but who needs one when you have a game like this?

Buy Hydro Thunder if you're looking for excitement.

I hate to compare the two, but they ARE the same kind of game for the same platform.

Aqua GT has a very sluggish feel in a slow-paced racing environment. Whilst the graphics are beautiful and there are plenty of boats and tracks to keep you amused, there is hardly anything to do other than race. No powerups. No jumps. Just go round and round and round.

After playing Hydro Thunder, I had high expectations of this game and was very disappointed. The boats feel slow, the physics are virtually none-existent (the boat bobs up and down at the front and turning is sometimes difficult, thats about it for physics). Great visuals, great gameplay and loads of longitivity makes this the best game on the DC. It is essentialy three genres roled into one (motorbike racing, action-adventure and shooting). Buy it now! It's better than MGS2.
