1st off, the one and only negative:- its euro 2008 rather than next seasons fifa 2009. if this is what fifa will be like, then bring it on. Ive waited years to be able to create yourself AND play as yourself in a football game, and it was good to see that euro 2008 expanded on fifa 2008's 'be a pro' by creating 'captain your country'. have only had the game a couple of days, but im hooked already, not only can you personally score the winner in the euro 2008 final, but when you do so, why not celebrate using the new interactive celebrations? do a peter crouch 'robot dance', a jurgen klinsmann dive, thank God by pointing to him, or why not just do the old fashioned alan shearer one hand in the air? missing england in euro 2008? then play this ... I have always been surprised by the speed with which certain gamers heap criticism on games. It's a cut-throat business, but sometimes when I read reviews, I get the impression that 9 out of 10 games must be absolute rubbish. Obviously this is not the case......

Moving onto the game itself.
I thought the graphics for a game of this nature were quite good. The planes are depicted in detail and the colourations and designs are impressive. I will admit that ground troops and vehicles sometimes lack detail, but this is not really that important when playing the game.
There are not that many flying games on the PS3, so you could argue that there is not much to compare it to. But having said that, the missions are varied and reasonably ... Read More:

It's been a good few years since I last hopped on a deck and ground my way around Alcatraz Island collecting S.K.A.T.E, ollie-ing over prison warders and getting "big air". Frankly I thought those joyful days were over.
Circumstances continue to surprise me.
Firstly I won a PS3 in a competition where I actually wanted to win the car or holiday. Secondly I spied a pre-owned copy of "Project 8" in a well known DVD rental shop. A moment of weakness and all the pieces came together.

The old magic is still there.
From my embarassingly shaky start in the tutorial mode, when I suddenly realised my fingers had forgotten how to pull off a 3 trick combo, I gradually improved and progressed into the first true game area and last night opened ... Read More:

SingStar II (PS3)

I have Singstar 1 for PS3 and after an update also have a new harmony mode with some of the songs I have downloaded. I dont want to change discs in the middle of a game and dont want to have a second disc. If the songs on the new disc are not available for download then playstation are not rewarding loyal customers. We have over 150 songs now and I dont want my kids changing the disc over and over again when playing the game. (Where are the wireless mics. featured in the intro of the first disc, perhaps they should sort this first)

SEGA Rally (PS3)

If you remember Sega Rally on the Saturn or even at the arcade - I'm talking about the original - you'll remember how cool it was and how fun it was with only a limited number of tracks. This PS3 version is amazing - driving, graphics, sound, all great. If you liked the original then buy this.
