WRC FIA World Rally Championship 04 (PS2)

WRC 4 features the rally teams, cars and stages of the 2004 season and playing through the main WRC championship (not including group N and super 1600 championships!) will take a long time! Each of the 6 stages take about 4-5 minutes to complete and presents its own challenges. It took me a while to get used the handling, yet it feels so realistic when driving those rally cars, but once you figure out how to set your car up, sliding, turns etc, WRC 4 becomes one of the best rally experiences.

As for unlocks, you have to earn them by winning points from the championship, then you can spend points on new cars, stages, and extreme cars.

Mashed Fully Loaded (PS2)

One of the main problems with multiplayer games is that the guy who owns the game invariably ends up winning every time you play. This means that eventually, everyone else gets sick of losing and want to play something else! Not so with Mashed. This game is very easy to learn (Steer the car, accelerate and brake, fire weapons and thats about it) and in great fun to play.

The single player game is ok - not amazing, but still fun to play. You'll need to play this to unlock tracks for when your mates arrive, but then you probably won't touch it.

The most fun from this game is to be had with four players. Although this can be done by two players sharing a controller, it is much much better to have a multitap with four controllers. ... Read More:

Worms 3D (PS2)

This game truly keeps the spirit of worms alive. Even though this is the 1st worms game to hit the 3d front, it does not let its self down. I truly great game. The graphics are good, and the multiplayer option is great to play with friends. Maybe in the future worms will be a net game? That would be good. All the classic worms weapons are here including Holy Hand Grenade, Mad Cow, Homing Pigeon, and Super Sheep! A great worms game sutible for all.

If you want to play Asteroids, Space Duel, Tempest, Centipede, Missile Command and Battlezone using the SAME ORIGINAL CODING as the arcade games from your youth - then this is the game for you. These 6 games are the reason why you you would buy this collection, (although time probably has not been kind to these games).

Highly customisable - eg screen views can be customised so it looks like the original machine round the outside or just the inside screen; points for bonuses and extra lives can be adjusted.

Don't you just hate budget games by now? There rubbish! And this is a prime example. This is a shooter where you control your average U.S hero, hunting down terrorists. The gameplay is sooooooooo basic, and the graphics are APPALING. The only notable thing about this game is that you can kung foo Osama Bin Laden, which is halarious. But please dont buy this game because of that. Look it up on youtube is you really must! Absolute tripe!

Tim Burton's the Nightmare Before Christmas (PS2)

The game is based on Tim Burtons Nightmare Before Christmas. Its not the story line of the film (it has a story all of its own), but it does have alot of the main characters, and sets from the film.
Now I'm not very good at playing the games, but this is really easy I pick it up in seconds! It keeps you moving and is always changing (but its not complicated).
I have got really addicted to playing and would recommend it to gamers of any level, especially if you love the film.

X-Men The Official Game (PS2)

Pros:
There are X-Men in this game, Wolverine Iceman and Nightcrawler.
Iceman's levels are pretty good (hence the 2 stars).
The voices of the actors in the movie are used (which may have cost so much is explains the cons).

Cons:
Only 1 decent cutscene in the whole game, and all curscenes are drawn, like moving comic pages, like putting a comic in front of your face and impersonating an X-men character.
Wolverine's levels are poor, he has about 4 different moves ONLY, and he's the worst part of the entire game. Nightcrawlers levels are just frustrating, and should not be played if you are tired of life in any way.

I think the game developers should have chged this and named it Crazy Racer:Street Racing,or something.It is good as a racing game,but rubbish as a police game.Police cars do not have nitro bosts that come out of exhaust pipes and make the car go at 350 MPH.And all of the missions are based on a non-existant storyline.Picture this mission briefing:
Your wallet has been stolen.Arrest the criminal before he finds out you're a cop and blows your cover.
Cars Available for the mission:Police Patrol Car (Thats unlikely to blow your cover,isnt it?)

Only buy this game if you want a racing game with poor storyline.

This game is great. Ok its no Wii sports, but its certainly good. The graphics are decent, and the gameplay is quite like a good tennis match. Ignore the poor reviews this is a must for the tennis fan.
