I bought one in 2003 and besides the lack of rumble loved it until I threw it at a wall in anger while playing a button basher at Soul Calibur 2. The right shoulder was completely knacked afterward; so if you're prone to throwing things anger think before you buy a wavebird. But I've just bought a new one to go with my Wii because the wavebird is a natural fit for playing GC and VC games on the system. (JUST DON'T LOSE YOUR TEMPER AND CHUCK IT.)

I've tried this wheel with NFS:Carbon, Sega rally, GT5 (tech demo) and GT5 Prologue.
Worked ok in NFS, far too inprecise in Sega Rally, worked fine in GT5 (tech demo) though the pedals were not properly calibrated.
Avoid like the plague if you have GT5:Prelude. For some reason the wheel and pedals seem to work in the main menu but are completely incompatable with the driving. There's simply no response as you use the controls, which is odd as they seemed to work relatively ok in the tech demo. No amount of Jiggery Pokery could get this to run, even after disabling all other controllers (Bluetooth handset and wireless 6 axis).

This cable is well worth having, as it lets you sit much further away from the tv without investing in an expensive wireless controller. It works perfectly with the Wii as well for those of us playing gamecube games on our wiis and/or Gamecube controller enabled Wii games such as Mario Kart Wii.

I first saw one of these when my brother got one for his birthday. The Game Boy Player is a device, which connects to the bottom of the Nintendo Gamecube and allows you to play Game Boy, Game Boy Color or Game Boy Advance games on you're Nintendo Gamecube. I thought this was a decent piece of machinery due to the fact that, it feels like you've got a second Game Boy Console, but it stays permanently with the Nintendo Gamecube, without getting lost like a normal Game Boy would.
To get this beauty running, all you have to do is connect the machine to you're Nintendo Gamecube (Make sure you have a couple of screwdrivers). Insert the Nintendo Gamecube Game Boy Player Disk, slot in a Game Boy Game of you're choice and the game is up ... Read More:

I've only used this cable with Pokemon Colosseum but it's very picky with the direction in which it takes information. It's fine with sending information (such as the Berry Fix) to the GBA but refuses to take information from the GBA (such as Pokemon team data). This renders it practically useless. Very disappointing.

Why buy a 16MB memory card (251 Blocks) for £9 when you can get a 128MB memory card (over 2000 blocks) for £17, here on Amazon.co.uk? If you plan on using any of the EA sports games (Madden NFL, Fifa Football, Rugby etc.), you will run out of space quickly since they're all space hoggers.

Day of Reckoning 2 is not a bad game in its own right, but having played it to death in the last couple of weeks it does not compare much to the great N64 game No Mercy. The story mode angles are very good, it is like watching Raw or Smackdown, you don't know what is going to happen next. No voiceovers, but the text used has all the relevant catchphrases etc. There is a varied level of difficulty, some matches were very easy and others very hard. One match against the undertaker took six of my finishing moves on him to get the pin! Also you practically have to win every match in story mode, give or take one or two, which can be very frustrating sometimes. I also do not like how you cannot go through story mode with an existing wrestler; very stupid idea ... Read More:

I was a bit wary about buying this as I've not always had much luck with third party controllers. Like the previous reviewer I bought this to play gamecube games on my Wii, as well as Wii games which support a gamecube controller, such as Mariokart. So far howver, I have been very happy with it. It is a good size, nice and light, and the buttons respond well. A bargain!
