I bought this cable because I thought all the PS3 RGB cables would really be the same (and it was the cheapest one) - how wrong I was.

I plugged it into my PS3 the moment I got it and was horrified to see scrolling diagonal lines across the screen, they may have been faint on some screens but on others they stood out like a sore thumb.

After living with the cable for a couple of weeks I decided to try the "Snakebyte Premium RGB Cable" also from Amazon and it is a far superior picture with no lines at all!

The Joytech cable hasn't gone to waste though, it is connected to my PS2 because bizarrely, when connected up to a PS2, there is no lines on the picture!!

Buying this console made a big hole in my pocket and when it arrived it wasn't all I had hyped it up to be with. After 3 months of purchase, new games have come out and overall my opinion of the console is increasing.

So far it is not worth the money but now I know that it will be in the future when more games are released. Star Wars Force Unleashed and Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 coming out I am looking forward to adding even more to my collection.

Blu Ray playback is great and with a High Definition setup I am very pleased.

So my advice is if you have the money to spend and you want high quality games buy this console but at the same time be patient as you will soon learn to love it.

This would be a fantastic pad had it been released for the PS/PS2. Why? Because the one major difference between those controllers and that of the PS3 is SIXAXIS. This pad has none of that functionality and so games that require you to have it (e.g. Folklore, Heavenly Sword) are rendered useless. The fans work a treat but they won't cool down the rage that will ensue for those who buy this pad regardless. Avoid unless you are buying it to play games downloaded from the PlayStation Network or are playing PS2 games on your 60gb PS3.

guitar hero is a great game and i think it has kept me playing for the longest time BUT why is amazon selling the guitar by itself for MORE than the guitar with the game it makes no sense if you really want a second guitar for guitar hero you may as well save 5 quid and get a spare game as well
