Bully scholarship edition was my first ever game rental. There's an opening that evokes nostalgia and expectations of childhood anecdotes. Unfortunately, having not been a console owner until last year means that my first game rental experience actually came just two short weeks ago, sorry to mislead.
Bully is the only rockstar port available on the wii and while I often felt that I'd rather be playing Grand Theft Auto IV it is actually a great game on its own terms. Bully takes the GTA IV formula and applies it to a boarding school. Its not the cavalcade of death and destruction that you might expect and the violence is toned down accordingly for the setting. The weapons range from ever-reliable fisticuffs to a surprisingly powerful ... Read More:

In the process of sending this back to amazon due to the 'Turbo' Button remaining on and the d-pad not responding when pressing left (well, if you press really hard it works 80% of the time).
Ive since got hold of a second hand nintendo gc controller from gamestation for £9.97 (reduced from £13 - a joke that gamecube stuff is still so expensive). I wasnt surpised cos third party pads tend to be rubbish anyway!
The turbo button is really handy thou for star fox 64 on wii - but obvioulsyoy ,u dont want this function on all the time.
I would give it three stars as overall, if you cant get hold of a nin pad its worth getting - im sure you can get it replaced if you find the same problem.

I'll keep this short and simple.
This game is poor, a pathetic attempt at bringing the gameshow to the wii platform. You could get the same performance out of the DVD version, and DVD games have the same feel - slow, predictable, repetitive and dull. This Wii rendition is simply a DVD game in a Wii platform, badly produced and I would seriously deter anybody from purchasing this title - perhaps you should look at other family quiz games such as Kabooki or Smarty Pants.

Wow this is a really really bad game for many reasons and such a shame it is as well.
Firstly you have little if no one to chose from, no Nadal, Hewitt, Djokovic, Williams sisters. The list is endless.
Secondly is the modes. None of any substance. The rise up the ranks game basically involves proven established players playing each other and simply get better and better. Play Roddick early and your easily beat him. Take him on later and he becomes a different player. Oh and a first for me, the Australian Open final involved me losing to Mauresmo, in 3 sets each set the best of 5 games. And there is no Wimbledon, that has been replaced by the Irish Open! Someone didn't quite do their research here!
The controls are a nightmare. Using ... Read More:

I got this game for my girls as most of the ones we've got for the PS2 are way above their heads. They enjoy playing it, but get bored after about 10 minutes which is fine by me. At their ages (2 and a half and 3 and a half) I don't want them to play for too long anyway.
It certainly ticks all the boxes for younger kids.

Im gonna keep this short and sweet after playing the first game i knew the second one would be a great and i must say it hasn't disappointed me the graphics are very good the game play is very good and the best new part is the gravity control makes the game so much better and its also fun because you can change gears during a race. its very gd game but i cant give it 5 overal because it can be quite frustrating sometimes and playing with the wii remote is quite hard and will make u wanna use a game cube controller but overall visuals 4 game play 5 life expectancy 5 once you've finished the single player you will love playing against ur mates in multi player. and sorry that wasn't short. this is my first review so soz if its bad.

If you're deliberating as to whether or not to purchase component cables for your Wii then I would suggest that you buy this! Reasonably priced, provides an excellent picture and very good value for money.
Forget the branded Nintendo cable, too expensive, this does the job at a fraction of the price!

Mario Strikers Charged is an AWESOME game! A huge advantage is that you can play online, and it was the first online game you could play on the wii.
WHAT IT IS ALL ABOUT :
The very basics of football: you need to score more goals than you conceed, but with our nintendo characters as players and a no-foul policy. Also, there are crazy stadiums (some resembling obstacle courses!) and a ball that charges itself to give more power to shots and passes... (!)
This means each team has an artillery of weapons and moves in its different (or same) characters, who have individual skills and strenghts. The team is composed of:
a goalkeeper, same for every team, incredibly agile and quite unrealistic, making it impossible to score unless ... Read More:

this game is a huge disapointment in several ways. firstly the worst is the controls, which are terrible and it basically makes the game unplayable. theres no blood when u shoot people and when u sword fight which i think is unrealistic. the graphics were pretty poor for a nintendo wii. also the game became rather boring after about 15 mins of playing it.
this game in my opinion is not worth more than £10, if u pay more than that, then u will just be wasting your money

First of, this is a game that seems aimed at the 'retro' gamer. If you want the best and newest in all things Mario, go buy Galaxy. If you want to reminise about playing your SNES as a young teenager then buy this!
The intro is excessively long - quite frustratingly so! but once you get past it, the game is great. The controls are intuitive to any old Mario platform gamer, so it doesn't take long to get on your way.
(So far) the game is not the most challenging (so far) - but the old Mario titles never were either, but the ability to 'flip' between 2-D and 3-D gives this game enough of an edge to make it refreshing.
There's a definte market who will love this game - if you're looking for retro Mario fun on your Wii - then buy this game!
