This game is a great game to play with a friend. The controls are really intuitive, even my mum has had a go. There are levels to suit all abilities. All you need to be able to do is swing your arms from side to side and down, and give the occasional punch. When choosing who to play (which band), you get to choose between different genres of music, such as rock, hip hop, country, latin and marching band. Depending on who is doing the best in that section, the corresponding band plays. There are face off sections where you get to 'attack' your opponent, but there are also chances to attack during the beat sequences, using powerups. This game is so competitive!

This is a fantastic bargain. at R.R.P of £19.99 everyone who has kids and a Wii should invest in this game. It is great fun and looks good. Ok so it is never gonna win any awards with the adults. It is very simple but if you buy a cartoony looking game called "Emergency heroes" and expect it to be a complex RPG that will require great gaming skill, then you deserve to be disappointed. If however, like me, you want a fun, easy, cheap game that will keep your children entertained.... then this is the game for you.

I got this game today and I,ve enjoyed playing it.It,s good fun and the graphics are great,I like how you can change characters in different levels and I also like the special moves.I,ve only completed 10% of the game and I cant wait to do the other 90%.

Nyko Charge Station (Wii)

We bought this docking station because Gamestation had 2 sorts and this was the one which had its own battery-things included although it was a touch more expensive.

We have never had a problem with it, it charges quickly, the batteries last for ages whereas before we were going through loads of cheapo batteries! It matches the colour of the wii and the battery-covers are rubberised so they are non-slip which is great.

The only thing which I have only recently noticed as a slightly possible hindrance is that it does need its own plug socket which can be a bit of a pain because our wii is in the living room amongst the tv, dvd player, vcr (yes I still have one!) and cable box so there are lots of wires but it just means ... I wish I had read the previous reviews before buying this game. It is terrible. The sooner I can give it away the better. The game play is so slow, I thought the WII was playing up. OK it may appeal to the very young, but I shant be playing it any more. Ask to see a demo in a shop before buying.

This new version of Madden initially had me very excited on first play as it looks far removed from the previously solid but uninspired 07,08 versions.

The player models have a far greater level of detail and the stadiums look to have been rendered at a higher resolution. In addition, the gameplay is far smoother, without the jerkiness of previous wii efforts. A cool new menu system to choose plays via the remote and a "call your shots mode" that acts as a watered down telestrator in-game to direct your players is great.

Problem is, all of these wonderful ideas have been bolted on to a game that is no different in feel to Madden 2004. It uses the same basic engine and has the very same player animations and cut scenes. ... Read More:

The Spiderwick Chronicles (Wii)

I am unsure if any or most criticism that should be leveled at this game centers mostly on the control system of the wii rather than the game itself. Personally I found certain moves very frustrating repetitive and disappointing in this game. However, I also found many elements of the gameplay exciting and delightful. I was particularly pleased with the constant interchange of characters one plays, as well as the slightly weird concept of capturing fairies and sprites in a field guide, and the uses to which one puts them! The movie is well integrated into the play and I can see how the overall package will appeal to all fans of the Spiderwick series.

Logic3 Fishing Rod with Chrome Reel (Wii)

I bought the fishing rod to play with Rapala fishing.

The front of the fishing rod obscures view for the wiimote camera.
Because of this you cant navigate Wii menu or even use some function of the game such as putting the fish in your net after you have reeled it in.
Luckily the front piece comes of.

Which leaves only the added functiality of the nunchuk reel.
Turning the Nunchuk on the reel is not easy and does not feel very natural to me.

It is also a real hassle to unplug the nunchuk from the wiimote when installed since your fingers cant reach the nunchuck quick release buttons, I use a pen to do this.

Not recommended.

Zack and Wiki Quest for Barbaros' Treasure (Wii)

I may have missed something, but I really didn't like this game. I was expecting something like Monkey Island or Simon the Sorceror but got something more like Lemmings. Some of the other reviews are misleadin - this is not an adventuree game, there is no free roaming, each level is a staged puzzle. There doesn't appear to be more than one way of solving each puzzle and certain mistakes will cause your death, albeit usually in an amusing way, but this will send you all the way back to the start unless you use the gold you collect to buy credit notes to resume where you left off.

What really killed it for me was a point where it seemed the only way to solve a puzzle was by ringing that stupid bell in time to the notches on a record. I tried ... Read More:
