Brilliant 1st person 3D action adventure. This game is the official sequel to the 80's film and even has some of the original cast providing the voice overs.
It's 20 years later and you play 'Jet', son of Alan Bradley (Tron). Inadvertantly you are digitized and sent forth into the computer world to help fight against viruses, and other users hell bent on a hostile takeover of your companies system.
Amazing graphics that are true to the films look as well as many new components including a redesigned super-lightcycle (designed by Sid Mead), with an engaging story and superb playability. Long levels and hours of game play. And best of all, an excellent music score. Visit an Internet hub, Alans desktop ... Read More:
This is an absolutely fantastic game which is really fun and easy to pick up. I have had it for two days now and it is starting to get a bit monotinous. I wouldnt really suggest getting this as a game to just sit down and play it is more a game to do whilst doing something else on a train or in a car. It is quite addictive and the graphics and accesories make it all in all quite a funny game!

Well what can i say, had the game for about 3 mouths, played on it none stop. I suggest you play this game on a G4 or maybe a G3 and turn up your virtual memory to as far as it will go, because this game eats memory.Once thats done enjoy this game, because its a cracker, conversations are very realistic, so to are the sound effects if you have good speakers. the best thing in the game, is collecting the mods for the heavly damaging weaponry. The story line and plot is exciting and very clever. I bought this game for my brother-in-law, who was thrilled with it. It looked great, and was fun to play. Unfortunately, after a couple of weeks of play, the game crashed and it won't re-start. Bad luck, perhaps, but EXACTLY the same thing happened with another friend's copy. They both have well-specced Macs, so I doubt whether it's a hardware problem. Very disappointing.
For those of us who like to look beyond 3-d effects at some intelligent gaming, this game fits the bill nicely.
Whereas Age of Empires, for example, blandly and boringly invites you to spend hours repeating the same unrealistic and ahistorical simplistic and child-like actions, this game allows you to immerse yourself into the realities of the 1930s/40s politico-military situations.
From the makers of Europa Universalis, and similarly (apparently) inspired by the Australian Design Group's earlier boardgame work (World In Flames), the map provided covers the entire world, and allows you to select any country to play, as the political and military events of WW2 unfold around you.
