Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force

Having played this game as a demo (on a good old PC) I decided to buy it for our Macbook Pro. After just managing to ignore the fact that the 'new' copy I ordered was in fact used, I began installation. Turns out the game can't play on the new Intel Macs. Would have been helpful if the dodgy vendor/Amazon mentioned this in the description.
So..bottom line: Good game, just don't try playing it on an Intel Mac.
PS. If you're a Macbook Pro user buying a game from Amazon, do your own compatibility research.

This game is probably the worst game i've been stupid enough to buy, it is simply a map covered in icons and statistics. i cannot imagine anyone playing this game to completion, it's just tedious and pointless, don't buy.

Fallout 2

Followup to the smash success Fallout 1 this series can only be described as awe inspiring.

- This, the 2nd installment and not only is it a ground breaking RPG... It's one of the best games I have ever played (And I've played alot). You wouldn't believe how engrosing playing this is, it's above any piece of literature I ever read.
You play "the Chosen One" a member of a tribal community decendant of the heroic "Vaultdweller" -and if mess with -MY- village then I'll poke your eyes out, and kick you in the groin. (which by the way is more or less possible because the combat system in this RPG is above any other). All the while I'm enjoying the gruesome beauty of the 2d graphcis tottally innocently. This could have been a great game... but it isn't. I have to say that I think the idea for the game is very cool, and the graphics are good, but the gameplay is very, very bad. True, chucking villagers around is fun and you will laugh when you see the cow dance for the first time. However, you will probably spend about nine-tenths of your time micro-managing your villages which gets desperately boring in a short space of time. Much has been made of the AI in this game, and part of it is good - you can teach your creature to do a number of different things. However the rest of it is rubbish - the computer oppenent is so thick there's no way it can ever win, and in a game where supposedly anything goes there's no scripting contingency for anything apart ...
