F1 World Grand Prix 2

This is among the worst F1 racing games I have ever played, on any platform. The graphics are jerky and uncomfortable to watch (despite an expansion pack) and the sound effects are crass and overused. Worst of all though is the cars' handling, or lack of it. There is no sense that your inputs on the controller are in any way related to the car's movement on the tracks. After hours of practice you might just be able to complete a lap without hitting anything, but then there's the appalling AI of the computer controlled cars. Black flags or drive-through penalties for all of them!!! Perhaps I'm getting too old for these sort of games, or I've been spoiled by the likes of GP3 on the PC, but I really could not recommend this to anyone.

Wow!!! Where do I start? This game is fantastic and definetly worth your money. Its got everything, a great two-player mode, lots of one player options to keep you entertained and Pokemon. What more could you want?

V-Rally (N64)

If there was an olympics for worst game ever, this game would win the gold with no competition. It is easily, in 5 years of experienced gaming, the worst game I have ever, EVER had the misfortune to play. Let me try and explain why. The graphics are wrong, the cars are wrong, the settings are wrong, the levels are wrong, the playstyle is wrong, the handling is absolutley incredibly bad, I can never believe that this game ever came into creation. The cars reach a maximum speed of 30 mph (this being the top safe speed, because if you hit a bump, you go flying, turn over, roll, nearly explode and end up facing the wrong way. South Park Rally

You can play this for hours and its brilliant! the voices and the setting are just like South Park in the cartoon and the players interact with each other in the same comical way. 5 stars!

Rocket: Robot on Wheels (N64)

On a console full to the brim in the platformer department with titles such as Banjo kazooie, Banjo Tooie and of course Mario 64 I was suprised to see this game come out of nowhere and almost measure up to these titles. The game has great graphics and a brilliant control method, but where the game really excells is in it's gameplay. The game is highly original a lot better than the tedious collecting of stars and jiggies in Mario and Banjo Kazooie. Infact the games only downfall is how easy it is. It took me roughly 7 hours to complete it fully which isn't long enough in my opinion although this game is probably aimed at people of younger ages. Still I still rate this game as one of the best platformers on the system. 5 stars, its brilliant

RIGHT

here it is. i m setting the record straight. Fact is this game is really very good. The stealth elements inspired thousands of games, a fantastic control system set it apart and in my opinion most importantly the actual playing of the game is great fun. The storyline rolls along like a Clancy novel, good for holidays and nothing else, but as has become apparant good for video games too. And all this bollocks about the graphics not being great, foggy, and limited weapons is unfair. Realistically you can only carry certain amount of weaponry and it makes you appreciate the use of the guns more, eg you rarely use a shot gun but its o so sweet when you finally do. I ordered this game after reading a review in a games magazine and was a bit sceptical, because it could of been like Top Gear rally which im not too keen on but I have to say that it wasn't at all and has turned out to be one of the best games i've ever bought. With a mixture of sublime graphics and extreme high speed thrills, I recommend that you buy this title a.s.a.p.
