Tak has all the makings of a great title for the cube, but a few shortcomings really spoils it. The game is visually stunning, all of the characters move smoothly and look awesome, the plot is engaging and genuinely funny, and a lot of the dialog and cinematics made me chuckle. There are a couple of sub-games, such as a snowboarding course that are also quite playable. If you like entertainging platform games, you should definitely give tak a try.
Now, onto the problems..first of all, it's very easy to get lost, there is no map or compass function and there are far too few sign posts to guide you, you will regularly spend 5 minutes wandering around aimlessly trying to find the village you were in 10 minutes ago. secondly, some of the puzzles ... I bought this game for my grandson last months, and have to say that after playing it with him, it is a reccomended buy!
The basis of the game revolves around Jimmy Neutron and his quest to find the ninja that killed his dog.
While the primise of this game sounds violent, i have to say that i was dissapointed. In comparison to my grandson's other games, such as GTA3 and Manhunt, there is comparitavely low blood levels, although the accompanying sound effects are quite spectacular. In some areas you can hear the splatter of blood and organs resounding off the walls, and when accompanied with the pin sharp, gore-revealing visuals, it is quiate a good stress buster. Nickelodeon Party Blast sounds great....in theory. Take your favourite nickelodeon cartoon characters and chuck in some fun party games and there you go! madcap multi-player madness guaranteed!! so what went wrong? Well, in a word, its BORING! the games just fail to engage the player and tedium sets in almost straight away. It's a great shame as the premise of this game is so promising, but when you consider the other mulitplayer games that are currently available (such as Mario Party 4 & Super Monkey Ball) there is just nothing to recommended this at all. The games are basic, dull & repetitive and whilst graphically competent they are nothing to write home about. The overall presentation to be fair is excellent and clearly some work has gone ... Spongebob Squarepants : Battle for Bikini Bottom (GameCube)

I'm not a kid, but i do like silly cartoons like spongebob, and simple but fun platform games. If you tried the previous spongebob title, revenge of the flying dutchman, and were dissapointed, try this new incarnation...the gameplay and graphics have been revamped, the characters are far more fluid and flexible (thankfully they got rid of that jump-float thing), the voices for dialog and cinematics are played by the real actors (with the notable exception of Mr Krabs, or maybe it was the real guy with a hangover) which all contribute to a fantastic game.
The virtual bikini bottom is identical in every last detail to the cartoon version, even stupid details like the "condiment island" in the Krusty Krab, or spongebob announcing "They serve food here, ... Read More:

This game makes my children laugh out loud. I have seen children from 5 to 14 play along side each other on this game and enjoy equally. It is a super game with great characters and enjoyable quick games. The game will give entertainment to all the family I am sure.
