Don't waste your money, this game isn't about thinking! The game doesn't have any imagination. The controls are rudimentary, I suspect specific to the wii. The wii remote makes this a bad came much worse. If you like nothing more than perfectly timing the pressing of buttons or shaking of remotes then this is the game for you. If you like some substance to a game don't buy it just don't!

It feels like a game which attempted to take advantage of Wii controls, and in doing so the production time went past and they had to release it. It's very shallow.

The game itself works. The game is on rail and story advances linearly, with monsters popping up here and there. Slashing is fun and especially if you like the world of Dragon Quest and its monsters, you will likely cry in joy seeing the monsters move around with vigor. There is something beautiful about that. The world also feels cosy and being in the middle of it is enjoyable.

The trouble is, that's where it stops. It's too much of an arcade game considering it's Dragon Quest.

Powerplay Cube Controller plus 4MB Memory Card (Wii)

This is a controller and memory card that can be used for both the Gamecube and Nintendo Wii. I bought this specifically for the Wii because i had never owned a Gamecube before, so didn't have the controller/memory card. Also because of the memory card, i needed one to save game files for the N64 Virtual Console and Gamecube games. Certain games on Virtual Console need a Gamecube controller to be able to play the games.

The difference between this controller and the official Gamecube controller is that this is a bit more chunkier in size. I can still hold it well and it is comfortable, despite me having medium/small hands, so it wasn't really a problem in the end. Was a little unsure based on one review I read but have to say I haven't had any difficulties at all. The working distance is fine as is the battery life.

There is no game with this product- it is just a second mat.

This is an OK second mat to buy if you already own games like "Dancing Stage Hottest Party" and want to play the two-player mode like we did. It's not as good as the mat that comes bundled with that game though. It has a slightly different surface (it feels a bit more like a tent), it's a tiny bit smaller and on our carpet it slips about a little bit more than our first mat does. Once you put some weight on the mat (I put some shoes in the corners) then it's fine and does the job. So it's OK, but I'm not dancing for joy (bad pun intended).

My partner bought me this game, and I have to say that I was very disappointed. The game started with a promising start, but it is a total con. As another reviewer stated it was very confusing, and I just couldn't figure the game out. Within an hour, my partner was back at the shop getting his money back. My advice, spend your money on something more enjoyable....

My son (12) is a poor reader, whereas my daughter (13) reads about a book every two days. For twenty quid, I thought this must be worth a try as there are precious few decent fun & educational PC games suitable for your kids after they pass the age of 8 [and even fewer for the game consoles]. This game "is created in association with Dr Tom Cobb, Prof of Applied Linguistics - with words and definitions from the Cambridge Advanced Learners Dictionary [whatever that means]."
