This game is overall a good buy and those who know a little bit about basket-ball shouldn't hesitate: though I didn't give it 5 stars, it's still the best available game of its class out there.
The cons: you can't create your own player and it's not possible to update the teams composition from the internet, and yes, Duncan can sometimes score 3-pointers!
The pros: there's a fluidity and a density to the gameplay that's simply not matched elsewhere. After some time, you can almost "feel" the game, which of your player is hot, when to make that killer pass or that unexpected block. What an amazing game, what with its amazing graphics and addictive gameplay, no wonder Toy Commander is still going strong today. Toy Commander was one of the launch titles for the dreamcast a good couple of years ago, and has never ceased to amaze all dedicated dreamcast gamers. the first thing you will notice about the game is its sheer scale of the surroundings, the developers of this game must have taken ages to design the enviroments. the gameplay also tingles the tastebuds of your average gamer, by making the genre a action strategy racing simulation shoot em'up all in one, which is pure mind blowing considering the fact your only about 1 inch tall in Toy Commander. I mostly use my Mac for web surfing, email, and working with documents, and have used a PC for many years for all my gaming needs from shooters to RTS. Unfortunately the Mac has always been notorious to childish imps like myself for being crap for games! So, given that I was getting a bit bored of seeing the same movies on airplanes I decided to give my Mac another chance and got this to try out. I played this on a Macbook 2.2ghz dual-core with 2gb of memory, so your mileage may vary.

Fear Effect

Ok so the actual game itself can be quite confusing at times but is alot of fun, loads of arenas from volcanoes to snowey mountains and overgrown courtyards. The difference is the multiplayer!
Get some friends and jam out to this, easy to pick up and very fun! Lots of options mean that you can come back as a ghost when you die, or pick up purple devils to cause everything from tornadoes, making your character inflate or causing the screen to turn multiple colours!
Buy it!

Disney Pixar Cars (MAC/PC DVD)

This DVD is basically a dual CD rom installation on a single DVD, however what the software developers have been very sloppy in producing it and when you first start running the game it will demand that you put in another CDRom .... which you don't have because this is a single DVD. There is a way of tricking the system into thinking it has been given the correct CDRom but this is fiddly. Do a search for OnyX and Cars.

Final Fantasy Anthology (PS)

If you're a Final Fantasy fan, then by all means get Final Fantasy Anthology. These two Final Fantasy games are much better than the first two, with more interesting characters and storylines, though I feel that the crystals ruin the games; there's the dark knight Golbez attempting to get his hands on the crystals in Final Fantasy IV and the crystals shattering in Final Fantasy V.

Final Fantasy IV

This one is perhaps the hardest Final Fantasy to beat (this or Final Fantasy VIII. Final Fantasy VIII gets hard at the end, where this has constant boss fights, in which half of them are hard to beat, and when I say they're hard, I do mean HARD).
