To be honust i feel if Fifa 09 lives up to it's expectations and it improves (as im sure it will) i think we'll be on for finally the football game the completley ends Pro Evo's days.
From the rumours floating around, it looks asif it could be amazing
Lets hope so!!!
The Nintendo 64 was the first console I bought with my own money (I'm talking about 1998). I still remember saving up loads of pocket money for this, and only managing to buy the console which came with one remote (those awesome remotes!) and no game. The first time I saw the N64 was at a friend's house, he had imported it from the USA. Just the shape of it gave me goose-bumps! The fact it had 4 ports for remotes allowing 4 people to play simultaneously was the most attractive aspect of it, until I saw the graphics on Mario Kart 64! We played for hours, non-stop, and I yearned for the console to be on sale in Europe so I could get my hands on one. My first game was FIFA 64. Legendary. I do not want to think of how many hours I spent exploring ... Read More:
If you can't be bothered raising your pokemon up to level 100 well here is the easy way{if you want to} Get any item from your back pack, like a {Rare Candy} put it at the 6th or 7th{sorry a can't remember} place down from the top of your back pack,Go to viridan city, talk to the guy who tells how to catch pokemon{The old man}. You have to be very quick, fly to blane's island surf near the coast of the gym up and down, etc, Then you will find a missingoo and Lv.1-180 it depends, kill it look in your pack and you will have a rare candy and a wierd smybol next to it. You can do it with anything like {Master ball} very good if you want to catch very pokemon,Others Nuggets,Revives,MaxRevives,Ether,.And the best part is you don't have to beat the elite 4 to activate it {It ... Its hard to believe looking back, that this game caused so much of a stir in the playground. Pokemon Red and Blue where a big deal during the mid 90's, and it was the game that really absored kids into a great adventure.
The layout of the game itself is simple, which I guess helped the popularity. But it was more of the objective that took sold the game - you had to become the 'best' pokemon trainer, and this could be done by winning lots and lots fights with other trainers.
I won't even go into what 'Pokemon' are (japanese for Pocket Monsters - hence they are kept in Pokeballs...) but to make it simple, their just creatures that are trained up and used for fighting other Pokemon. On your travels, you can catch Pokemon by using Pokeballs you may buy, and various ... Read More:

Now come on...it's unlikely that you've never heard of Pokemon if you're reading this. And you should all know that this version has 251 pokemon which you need to capture.
You start off as a basic pokemon trainer, as you raise and capture more pokemon you're party grows stronger and evolves as you attempt to become the Pokemon master by beating all the gym leaders and the elite four and finally ??? (I won't spoil it for you).
Basically it's an addictive RPG that involves you raising and capturing pokemon...do you really need a long and in depth review for something so basically addictive. Just buy it.

Well, I must say I was a bit dissapointed with this game.
The graphics have been improved but nothing worth talking about.
The overall game play has also improved but come on, is that the best you can do?
Story line is better than the earlier versions but however is not very moving or creative enough.
If you compair story lines of Warcraft, Starcraft, Command Conquer, this game's story line totally sucks.
I do like the cannons, additional buildings, and cards you can use from your homeland, but the fact you can Modify your home city's image just makes me laugh as to why you would add something so pathetic to a game for.
Completely pointless.
(The more I think about it, I should have spent a bit more and just bought C&C 3)
This game is absolutely amazing, I remember years ago when I first got it. Ahh, the days when games were more than just shooting and killing, the days when games had a proper story line, and amazing imagination.
Everything about this game is perfect I cant think of ANYTHING bad about this game. If you havent played it then you should really get it. If you have played it then you know what I am talking about.
This game is the best game I have ever played in my life without any doubt. And looking where video games are heading it will more than likely stay that way...

Well, at least I thought I was revisiting a classic. Inspired by the events of Guns Of The Patriots (don't worry, no spoilers here), I decided to pop in the old 2-discer for a bit of reminiscence, before catching on after about ten minutes that I knew the intricacies of the game all too well, going as far to predict Snake's hardly-gaming-history first meeting with Mei Ling word for word. See, after finishing this game some 32 times, I'm confident I know it better than I know my mum.
No game, except maybe the sequel, Sons Of Liberty, has ever had me coming back for more as often as Metal Gear Solid. Even the excellent latest offerings don't have the same pull on me. And despite the fact that it is effectively rendered obsolete by later improvements in control, its never been bested ... Read More:
