Spyro once again has to save the world and after finally managing to go on his holiday in dragon shores he comes back to the dragon worlds and while him and his dragon friends are sleeping all of the dragon eggs that are soon to be hatched are stolen by evil rhynocs and the the apprentice of the evil sorcoress. They manage to get away just in time through a whole onto the other side of the world the forgotten worlds. And who is the only person small enough to fit throught the hole. Yep you guessed right Spyro. He is on another world saving adventure to take back the dragon eggs and on the way he can take on small tasks such as skateboarding or beating an evil marine in a submarine. Silent Hill Platinum

Despite this game being quite a few years old now it still the best in the series. Each time I play this game it never fails to entertain. The atomsphere is dark and heavy. Not forgetting the awsome soundtrack that oozes fear. A town full of fog, snow and monsters set this game apart from other 'survival horror' games. The characters are well developed and there is a pleasent depth to the plot of silent hill, which falls into place nicely at the end of the game. With five endings to play for this is a game worth playing again. A well deserved five stars.

After hammering the Mac version of Battlefield 2142 since last Christmas, I thought a change of scenery was in order. If you're a FPS fan, then ETQW does not disappoint. Some reviewers of the PC version have commented that ETQW is difficult and takes a week to get to grips with - it doesn't. However I recommend a few hours of familiarisation in the vs Computer mode.

The multiplayer game is great fun and the different player classes with their unique abilities and mission-within-mission make for an enjoyable game.

The game seemed appeared to work adequately on Aspyr's minimum settings, albeit with lowish graphics settings. Since installing a further 2GB of RAM, I've upped the gfx settings and the game moves along smoothly. ... Read More:

Tomb Raider - Platinum

Rhona Mitra is not as wonderfully airbrushed in her beauty as Angelina Jolie, but she'd still kick her derriere.
That's how I feel about this, Lara's first incarnation.
Compared to the fluidity and polish of Tomb Raider: Anniversary (the remake of this, eleven years on), Tomb Raider looks chunky and dated.
Don't let that fool you, this game and this alone is the reason the PlayStation brand leads the world today.
Once played, never forgotten.
Most of you reading this review will already have played it and are merely curious as to other people's views, so let me try a little experiment.

NBA 2K8 (PS3)

This game is overall a good buy and those who know a little bit about basket-ball shouldn't hesitate: though I didn't give it 5 stars, it's still the best available game of its class out there.
The cons: you can't create your own player and it's not possible to update the teams composition from the internet, and yes, Duncan can sometimes score 3-pointers!
The pros: there's a fluidity and a density to the gameplay that's simply not matched elsewhere. After some time, you can almost "feel" the game, which of your player is hot, when to make that killer pass or that unexpected block. Crash Bandicoot 3 - Platinum

As the title says, it's the least enjoyable of the PSone Crash games although thats nothing to be ashamed of and it still clearly warrants a 5 star rating. The Wumpa Bazooka is a great idea, the Motorcycle levels however are not. This is the easiest Crash (except the stupid Motorcycle) levels, but it still has longevity and is definitely worth purchasing if you haven't played it before. Naughty Dog just don't fail to disappoint.

Blue Controller 64

In 2008, this is perhaps the most random review ever.. The N64 controller. But hell, i'm bored! As with anything N64 related, its too easy to get carried away back to those teen memories in the nineties, so I find myself bullet-pointing the most important parts...

Positives:

- The ergonomic design; no controller has ever been designed like this.
- The analog stick is perfectly placed, allowing real precision because it's right under your thumb, and you don't need to stretch for it.
- The Z button was also right under the analog stick section, allowing for better control.
- Nice innovation with the 'C' button section; a seclusion of small, yellow buttons that usually account for settings during gameplay, or camera angles.

Sims 2: Nightlife Expansion Pack (Mac/DVD)

The game is excellent but I recommend using a fast machine as the game runs very slowly on a G4 with maximum memory. This is the only problem I have with the game, it jolts and you don't get the best quality. I also find that I can only play the game with a one person family or it impossible to play with the screen jolting.

Other than this I think the game has excellent graphics and the feature of driving around in your own car is also a bonus feature.

I would recommend buying this if you own a G5 which I think the game runs very smoothly on.

Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos

Warcraft 3, is a game that you must make sure that you have the next three months spare for before buying it.

Its just that addictive!

The game follows on from Warcrft 2, by continuing the battles between the Orcs and Humans.
But it goes much furth than that, by introducing 2 new races. The Night Elves and the Undead Scourge.

With this it brings a indept storyline and challengeing levels, which will at times will drive you mad and at others make you forget about things like, food, work and sleep.
