Oddworld - Abe's Oddysee - Platinum

Released nearly 10 years ago, Oddworld:Abe's Oddessy remains the best platformer i have ever played. Combining great gameplay and stunning graphics (for the time) with a diverse and fully interactive world. I advise this for any gamer, especially someone dissapointed with newly released inadequate games.

Super Mario Bros Deluxe

this is a remake of the 1985 classic super mario bros that was originally on the nes. 8 worlds, 4 levels in each trying to save the princess. But apart from just a remake it also includes a generous helping of extras. it supports the gameboy printer. there are lots of rewards to collect, there is a challenge mode where you must find things in each level or complete it with a certain score. Then the thing that seals the deal for me is the super hard (yet much easier than it's original japenese release) is the real super mario bros 2 or the lost levels (it's not the one with the vegetables). This is one of the few places we westeners can play this hard sequel to a classic so just this is a reason to buy this game

This game is overall a good buy and those who know a little bit about basket-ball shouldn't hesitate: though I didn't give it 5 stars, it's still the best available game of its class out there.
The cons: you can't create your own player and it's not possible to update the teams composition from the internet, and yes, Duncan can sometimes score 3-pointers!
The pros: there's a fluidity and a density to the gameplay that's simply not matched elsewhere. After some time, you can almost "feel" the game, which of your player is hot, when to make that killer pass or that unexpected block. This is a great game with a workout mode that lets you burn lots of calories, listen and dance at the same time as having fun! It has four differant levels to each song (the basic "beginner", "standard" and "difficult" with an extra one thrown in for "experts". As you work through the levels you will be introduced to new charactures who will dance along in front of phycadellic backgrounds! There are also loads of songs to chose from, ranging from very slow to VERY FAST!
BUT...The only problem is that this is a wonderful game for beginners, if you are like me, you will want more. I have heard of games that let you make your own sequences up and have arrows that dissapear, when i found out that my game had very few of those features, i was a little ... Read More:

Sega Visual Memory Unit (Dreamcast)

This is an awesomely intuitive memory card. The LCD screen, capable of displaying animations and even playing games while you are not on your Dreamcast is the best idea I've seen in years. The only problem I have with this, however, is that the capacity of the VMU is too small. Very often you will run out of room to save your games which is a shame. I would like to see an 8MB version of this or something like that, although I see it as highly unlikely.

I prefer the strategy-builder games like SimCity and Civilisation, and so I get a lot of fun from this version. You basically get to be God (in fact the mayor) and you start building your ideal community. Naturally it takes a bit of skill to find a viable combination of key elements (e.g. housing, industry and commerce) otherwise your community just goes bankrupt and dies away. I tend to enjoy just playing the early periods, and the next time I just start all over again. I love trying out different approaches to positioning housing and commerce together and putting industry in isolated areas, but I think the key is to optimise planning (and in particular commuting time) for the period in which you find yourself, and not to be afraid to change quite radically ... Diddy Kong Racing (N64)

i think this is one of the best racing games of all time , once u fisnsh it with adventure one u think the game is over but it gets more exciting as there is an even harder mode to play with reverse tracks , amasing game for the N64 , i still play this game because i thinks its incredible and its very difficult to cmplete the game it will take u years.

Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos

Warcraft 3, is a game that you must make sure that you have the next three months spare for before buying it.

Its just that addictive!

The game follows on from Warcrft 2, by continuing the battles between the Orcs and Humans.
But it goes much furth than that, by introducing 2 new races. The Night Elves and the Undead Scourge.

With this it brings a indept storyline and challengeing levels, which will at times will drive you mad and at others make you forget about things like, food, work and sleep.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (PSone)

Speaking as a daughter of this customer. I have to say that I loved all of the other Harry Potter games, and I thought you all needed a more up to date review on this specific game, since the last one was written in 2001 and it is now 2007. The graphics have nothing on the Order Of The Pheonix or any games of the above level, although having played all of these I found that I wanted to play this one again, remembering it as a fun, addictive psone game. I couldn't stop playing it until I had finished the entire game. Definately worth the money :D xx
