A note of caution - this is a great game, but I've had problems with it falling over at random intervals. This wouldn't ordinarily be a huge problem, but there's no autosave function and with a game this engaging it's difficult to remember to save your city at regular intervals - A few times I've lost 2+ hours of progress with a crash.

My copy is fully patched, and when the game crashes it returns you to the desktop - no message, no warning, just lots of frustration.

This game has a program called steam running it, meaning when bought new the buyer must enter the serial number and ONLY that person can use that number to play the game. Steam will not let a second user play the game if you buy it second hand you cannot play it simple buy new if you have to not second hand...

I may be the first to admit, but having played through the entireity of both Black + White games I found that although it has it's flaws BW2 really grew on me with time.

OK, so the actual gameplay was disappointingly short, but once you've completed it you can really appreciate the other things. The BEAUTIFULLY crafted landscapes. The sensual + brilliant soundtrack score. The pleasure of watching a villager progress from infant, to adult, to the retirement home.

Lionhead games have never really been about 'completing the game', they were about appreciating the little things along the way, but if you are the sought of person who blitzes through games just to get to the end then this isn't the sought of game for you.

I am an ex-D2 player and I stopped bitching and whining about games not working my way some time ago. In short: The game works. I love it. If you do not like it when a game gives you hell then you should avoid this one. The title makes this somewhat obvious.

This is a serious simulator. I've used the whole history of MS Flight Simulators and each gets better. I've used this one for over 3 years now and still don't tire of it. Limitations yes - the principal one being that you're trying to fly an aircraft through a single window. Realistic yes - though I have to say that flying a real light aircraft in good conditions is actually easier than flying this sim! Add ons available - limitless including many free options. With full scenery optional extras (third party) you can fly over and recognise your own house. Alternatively you can plan and fly around the world in real time and weather. Up to you.

This expansion pack adds to the already brilliant Civ 4, the most addictive game ever. They seem to have fine tuned aspect of the game to make it more like real life especially religion and diplomacy. You are now severely punished for your civilisation having a different religion which is exactly what happens in real life. They have added great new units such as cruise missile, tactical nuke and better air defence units. A lot of people complained on here of bugs in the game, these have now been fixed in a patch so you most download that before you play this game. I do have a couple of negative points, but these are personal gripes. I think the new spying system is very intensive and a big distraction, I would prefer to tone it down a notch. I got this agme last month after having blown all my wages on a skiing holiday. It kept me indoors for a period of time long enough to pass the days before pay day. The graphics are amazing, the turn based combat is actually more fun than I expected and the characters are quite indepth. I personally like to wind Carth up a great deal, but in a way that doesn't gain darkside points. The story is quite convincing and the twist futher on in the game is top notch. The alien worlds are nice just explore and the musical changes when you start a fight is so well done.

I would say this game is great although I am about 4 years behind and need to stay indoors this month as I will blow my wages again.

I have spent just over one real time month in playing time in the last two years! While qualifying as value for money, it will consume your life! Even now I am finding small complexities I can change to assist in destroying the opposition, vast detail and attention to detail!

i love aom. i dont usualy play game storylines if the game is multiplayer, this is no acception. the game may look bad playing supremacy . but online the game is AMAZING!! the mapmaker is just second to none , and there are maps online like river civilisation, where there are island, there are zelda games, which are similiar to riv civ ones, but a bit worse, and there are alot more. This game is great, however i think the the expansion pack is EXTREMELY unfair. firstly, the atlanteans are too good, they cannot be beeten if u dont kill them within 15 minutes, simply because there god powers and infantry and there ability to make infantry into heroes, is just unbeatable. I never god titans, because it makes your base a target for enemys, and even if you do get one, they take up quite a alot of population. my favourite ... Read More:
