I was unable to play this game because after one an a half hours of installing the game it told me that my computer could not play the game because it did not have a 1.1 pixel shader. I have found that there are suprisingly few computers which have this and to get it you will have to buy a graphics card which has this. Before you buy this game make sure that your computer has a graphics card with 1.1 pixel shader

I love the Sims and play the game a lot. I was really looking forward to sprucing up my kitchens and baths with a makeover, sadly this is not what I got.
Very unimganative designs and boring sets, I was surprised it felt a lot less stuff than say the H&M fashion pack.
I wouldn't unload it from my game but I don't think I'll be so excited next time

You just gotta try this game, pray to the gods you dont like it.
I quit playing this game and took up real life just over 4 months ago, life is better now that I am free.
I've racked up 4000 hours play time over the past 1.5 years, that's 166 days, nearly 6 months constant play time... I obviously totally mastered the game, made hundreds of friends, yes friends, (they might be online but I still know, respect and talk to them like I would any other friend). Because of this game I lost my families respect, my girlfriend and did much worse in my GCSE's.
In a sense I do not regret buying it, but life is better without... believe me.
I don't class myself as a gamer or a geek but yet this game destroyed me. ... Read More:

I have to say that while the graphics are first rate, this game is nevertheless a triumph of style over substance. Totally unrealistic car handling and AI flashing by with no relationship to what's actually happenning on the track had me increasingly regretting my purchase within an hour. If patches are issued the address major issues of playability, that's fine, but until then, avoid.
ive been playing Diablo for years but the Expansion (especially on patch 1.11b) is incredible. It blows your mind away. With the two new character classes-druid and assassin- and hundreds of new items, this addictive game is a great play and can keep you going for hours.
or 4... At least I think that's how long I spent playing Diablo II in every spare moment I could find, I'm not sure, I kinda lost track of time for a bit.
The concept behind making Diablo II so popular is ridiculously simple. Make an engine that can generate nearly infinite numbers of uniquely different magical items and people will play until the end of time trying to obtain a sword or a suit of armour that's just that little bit better than what you already have.
The stories and cut scenes that drive the game forward and link the various Acts are superbly done and contribute in some way to dispelling the "nothing but a clickfest" label that the Diablo games have been cast as.
Many spells and abilities are only available at level 30 or above and ... Read More:

Having actually played a release version of this game, I thought it might be time for a few truths, rather than just have people guessing.
Let's deal with the most contentious issue first: Purchase of the game limits you to as many installs as you like on up to 3 different machines. How many (honest) people will be upset by that? Not very many! If you honestly have more than 3 different machines that you want to play this game on, you have some serious cashflow differences from the rest of us!
Now, on to the actual game. This is a highly unique and very brilliant game! Firstly you get to design as many creatures as you like, and give them all different characteristics that will lead to their future potential development as lower - and then higher - sentient ... Read More:

The graphics are amazing on directx 10 with everthing on full, and I'm amazed at how soothly the engine runs througout, and I'm taking console-like smooth. Not sure about the stealth aspect. Most of the time when playing it I feel like Sir Lancelot the Brave from the Life of Brian, hacking through anything that comes across my path, including any inccocent bystanders that happen get in the way. Some of the fights also become comical-which is great: on one occasion an enemy was just about to stike me with his sword, when another enemy archer cut him down by accident from range. Now all that needs to happen is for Bioware to use the same graphics engine in their next RPG epic.
Edit - I've also just found out that alot of copies of this game can crash when you try to enter Jerusalem, ... Read More:
