I enjoyed this game very much. It reminded me of broken sword one and two. There were no timed sequences. The story was satisfying and the puzzles were many and were well matched to the storyline. There was an interface where you had thoughts and conclusions based on what people had said or what you have found so far added to a little book, and which you clicked on at relevant points of the game to help solve a puzzle or send an email to colleagues, which I thought was imaginative and added to the games complexity. It was of average length for point and click games (I just played Dracula origin; that was a short adventure). If you are a lover of point and click adventure games then buy this.

Briefly - the best Jet Sim out there - still! You can add all sorts of stuff into the sim ( I added Tornadoes, Gripen, F22 Raptor, Migs 23, 27,29, Sukhoi 27, Victor, Vulcan - many more available), the Flight Models are pretty spot-on; not as 'tecchie' as LOMAC ( easy to get playing & having success). The cockpits are pretty OK, external views are impressive. As it's a little old now, the payoff is that you can stick all settings to max, and still have a beautiful fluid, fast Sim. The campaigns are thin on the ground, most fun had with the single mission parameters. Played on XP, Geforce 7900, Athlon FX57.

Warcraft 3, is a game that you must make sure that you have the next three months spare for before buying it.

Its just that addictive!

The game follows on from Warcrft 2, by continuing the battles between the Orcs and Humans.
But it goes much furth than that, by introducing 2 new races. The Night Elves and the Undead Scourge.

With this it brings a indept storyline and challengeing levels, which will at times will drive you mad and at others make you forget about things like, food, work and sleep.

This game reminds me of when I used to play it with my eight year old son who invented words in order to use up his letters. Your virtual opponent, even if a novice, always has enough letters to make sizeable words, half of which do not appear in any dictionary. It is even happy to place words parallell to others thus creating two or three random two letter words. My exasperation threshold was reached after two games!
Don't waste your money!

The software is poor and the support site is equally poor. The zfang engine software cannot be updated because the URL it wants to download from doesn't appear to exist.

On top of that, their "contact us" support page is equally useless, having filled out an entire page of information, only to receive some uselss HTTP Mail error.

Don't support companies that can't be bothered producing products with adequate support. I'll be returning mine to amazon and looking for an alternative.

Sam & Max (PC DVD)

I loved the original sam and max game and had mixed feelings about whether it would translate well to 3D. However, I need not have worried! The interface is slimmed down and easier to use than ever, the episode system is cleverly implemented, and the dialogue is (that rare thing in video games) really, really funny. One or two puzzles have slightly obscure solutions but on the whole the difficulty curve is perfectly pitched. In summary: This is brilliantly entertaining, rib shakingly funny and the best game I've played in a long time.

This is one of the worst games i have ever played, in quite some time. i have a quad core PC with a Nvidia 8800GTX, and the gameplay was atrocious. very jittery, no control over the bus, no directions in the game, very annoying navigating the menu's and terrible game play. if you want to buy this, dont, buy Bus Driver insted. much much better.

I bought this specifically to fly in IL2 (Aces/PF). Out of the box, the basic functions work very well with good precision though you may need to find the right settings for the stick inputs in the IL2 software [I suspect the 'stalls and spins' reviewer didn't do this]. Having 2 trim wheels on the throttle immediately makes a massive difference to flying (though again, you may need to tweak settings to make the wheels less sensitive). The thumb mouse is a great improvement for looking around if you don't have a head tracker. Lots of people with the more expensive CH flighersticks swear by the X52 throttles. Lights and displays are a bit gimmicky, but at least are pretty.

A really excellent experience-and one for the Command and Conquer hall of fame-in context perhaps not better than the older red alerts and command and conquers-but an improvement with the times and consistent with the quality we have come to expect.
Firstly-the complaints about the game that I've heard:
1. If you have a problem with the graphics being too high-what are we supposed to lower the quality of the graphics just because they don't run on some peoples machines?-and if you had a 32mb graphics card when this was released then you're just pushing it-advance with the times. The graphics are excellent, 3d, exciting and explosive-see your jets home in on and destroy enemy positions with missiles or hundreds of tanks advance across the landscape.

A word of warning. The specs on the Amazon page say this is Vista & XP only. In fact it is anything up to XP only. The Starforce protection system IS NOT COMPATIBLE with Vista.

I had to give up & install it on my XP Laptop.

I'll write a fuller review when I've played the game.
