The deluxe edition is essentially FSX, but with added scenery and a few axtra missions. If your computer is the type that will struggle with FSX, it is possible that you won't be able to appreciate the added content.
Having said this, I would recommend buying the deluxe edition of this game simply because it will pay off in the future, becuase it really is worth seeing the game in all its glory. I personally had many teething problems soon after installation, even on my brand new computer with an 8800GTX and a quad core processor. My inability to hit the ground running with this game is testament to the amount of fine tuning that is required in order to squeeze the very best in terms of performance to quality ratio.

I love Sims, always have, and was really pleased when I found that they were incorporating weather into it at last!
Weather was initially going to be in the base game, but due to a bug Maxis had to take it out. Upon learning this I found it a little annoying that you have to pay for a feature that should have been in the game in the first place, however, once you start playing you totally get over that because of all the other brilliant features this game holds.
You (obviously) have seasons. The effects are bit draining on your PC so before buying you should definitely make sure it can handle the game, but they are worth it because they are so good, and nicely realistic.
You also have season-appropriate activities, ... Read More:

I thought that this expansion pack was going to be the greatest by far... it wasn't. Yes it did add new features like buying community lots and hiring workers but there was one problem. I never seemed to get into running the business, it became repetitive and boring so much that I'd just end up cheating my way into a five star business. I never really 'use' this expansion pack when I'm in game, probably only when I'm building or buying something. I think I might uninstall it as I have hardly any hard drive space left because of these games! I guess it just depends on what kind of person you are, you either like it or you dont!
A lot of people say that some games get better with time. Most of those people are lying. Technology just progresses too quickly, trends are as fickle as the capricious northern winds, and games consoles live and die to be immediately replaced with the next model. Games just don't get better.
"Half-Life 2" is a game that gets better with time. Not just because people like it, but because it's still going. It's making babies. And, even when you play it for the second or third time, it seems like it's a living, breathing entity.
Since it was first released in 2004, its developer Valve has written two additional "episodes" to the storyline, carrying on from where the first game left off. They ... Read More:

I bought this because i wanted a decent RACING game. Big mistake - the cars handling is absolutely apalling, and this was with an R440 wheel and pedals! I spent the single hour this trash existed on my hard drive constantly fiddling with the steering settings just to try and stay on the track; it's either painfully slow response then catastrophic oversteer or no steering at all - all you seem to do is spin or crash head on. There dosen't appear to be any progressive acceleration or braking either. Try it with the keyboard and watch as your car literally 'wobbles' round the corners. Add to this rediculous computer opposition who don't seem to need to brake for anything and you should start to see the bigger picture. In my opinion, this is nothing more than Codemasters showing ... Read More:

Although I had problems getting it to run well on my Vista machine, I loaded it on my other XP machine and didnt regret buying it at all.
I was sneaking to the computer whenever I could to send a few hours of it. I even took leave from work.
The graphics are good and the sound is excellent. Its a game that really makes you think about what your doing and to plan what your doing.
Its really good how you start with nothing then gradually build yourself up.

This game really sets your Sims life up, when you go to university you meet lots and lots of sims and you usually meet the sim of your dreams. If you study hard you can get an A+ easily. It builds you skills up, so when it comes to work for your Sims they find it easy to progress up the ladder. They can usually learn guitar and play in a band with their friends and they can also go to communtiy lots and treat themselves to gadgets (like Mp3's, handheld console's and...cell phone's!!!) You can also study at the Libarys avalible, play gigs publicly earning lots of money for it and shop till you drop!
On the other hand. The whole process is very very legnthly. It is about six days per semester. And there are four semesters alltogether. So 24 days is a long time and stretches out and ... Read More:

The game itself is awesome. Very atmospheric, quite long for a next gen release, very immersive and just tonnes of fun. It's the first game i've bought for my PC and thouroughly enjoyed in quite a while. Crysis was too "wow look at me...i'm shiney", Hellgate london was a waste of time and a huge letdown, unreal 3 was another let down and the same goes for alot of games recently. There is masses of fun to be had with plasmids (Genetic upgrades which give you various powers) and using them in combination with weapons which can be upgraded just increases that fun (think Painkiller). Freezing a Splicer and then smashing it to peices with a wrench takes a while to get old then you do it with the more difficult and annoying splicers and a rush of satisfaction goes through you as you kill a particulary annoying ...
