This was the first UT game I've played, so I can't really compare it to other games in the series. However, I've been extremely happy with it.

First of all, the graphics are amazing. Not as good as Crysis (obviously), but they are great. Unfortunately, you'll need a good computer to run them at full capacity, and I don't have one. I'm currently on the in-between setting, and it's quality is about the same as Halo 2, which is pretty good. I did however try to run it at 5, and through the slowness of my PC, I noticed it's better than a lot of console games, notably the PS3 version of this game, which is disappointing for the PS3, since it has so much potential. I really like The Sims and i love H&M so when i saw this game i had to buy it!! I thought it would be just clothes but its not. For those(like me) who only have the Sims 2 and not Unniversity or Nightlife then this game adds some of the features you get with them.
For example, when creating your sim, you can now add "turn-ons and turn-offs" which means that your sim will be more attracted to certain sims with certain features, (e.g. brown hair and make-up). In addition the sims now have chemistry which are reflected by their turn-ons.
You also get a glimpse of what the Sims will be like if you get Unniversity, Nightlife, or Open for Business which really encourages you to buy them.

Sims 2 Nightlife IS AMAZING!! I really enjoy playing on it. You can get cars, go 'Downtown', where you can go out for meal or go dancing or SOMETHING like that - also there are lots more new items - and a new asperation too.

I recommend it 12 +

As you can see from that awful pun, humour doth flow from me like a river...
Anyway, the witcher.

The first thing that comes to mind for me when playing the witcher was, oddly enough, Oblivion. But not in the way you might think. The Witcher approaches the RPG genre from almost entirely the opposite direction from Bethesda's Classic. Rather than a sprawling, completely open world, we are instead given a handful of enclosed areas to explore through, with invisible walls keeping us on the right path. when i bought the sims 2 pets i didn't think that it would be anyhere near as good asa the sims 2 unleashed. how wrong was I? it adds a completely new side to the sims as the flexibility with chosing pets is splendid. i had no idea over how many breeds you could choose and you can even create your own. you can also get loads of new doors, floors etc and there are loads of unlockables to gain throughout. you can also train your pets and give them coreerers of their own and even scold or praise them.
it can be a little difficult to get the hang of but after a while it is easy. i count it as money well spent. also, breeding your pets has never been so easy and the puppies and kittens are quite adorable. in my opinion it is well worth buying, way better than ... Read More:

Logitech G25 Racing Wheel (PC)

I've been after one of these since buying a ps3 but was put of by the £200+ price tag. I also have a 360 wireless wheel and there is no comparison. The G25 feels stronger and the feedback is more realistic and F1, GT5 and ferrari challenge all run as smooth as you like.

Not a game for Settlers fans, its been dumbed down a good measure.

I bought it for my girlfriend, but she does not play a lot of PC games so I thought it would be OK for her. Its certainly easy enough. She did enjoy it to a point but got bored of it.

I will admit its fun enough to play for a while, but the total absence of depth will leave you not bothering to return. Can highly recommend for young children, or people very new to gaming. But to anyone else I would suggest your not get your monies worth.

i had really high hopes watching the relic forums and trying to guess what is in the game, and as a game its half decent, but it does seem far too rushed. some details and shading is off, some of the layers are out of sync, (the tau hq and sisters of battle immolator are two examples)

the flying units are a great addition though, but they tend to either be too weak or too strong, maeing you'll either play the game and forget they ever created flying units, or just spawn on mass millions of flyers, send them to the enemies base and destroy the vital buildings with no thought or skill required.
