Yep this game was different enough from your normal copycat linear corridor driven shooters to grab my attention for a couple of weeks.
The gameplay is more open than other titles i could mention, although not quite up to the original Far Cry (and if you haven't played that you've missed out).
The game is really well presented with all it's grey post nuclear settings, and some of the gun battles actually get your adrenalin pumping, with some rock hard opponents that react quite realistically.
I liked it and wished it were bigger and more comprehensive in its scope.
You do need a fast pc to run it in all its glory though.
great fun....

The Lost Crown is one of the very best adventure games that I have played for many years. I obtained a copy of an imported version of the game so I am lucky to have already played it prior to the UK release.

As the player character (Nigel Danvers), you explore locations throughout the game in a hunt for the lost Saxon crown. During your journey, you encounter many interesting and strange characters, lots of wonderful locations, creepy voices, ghosts, unexplained phenomenon and lots more.

I spent days and days playing this game and once I started, I just couldn't stop. The game evokes a range of emotions as you play. In much of the game you feel that `someone' is watching you and there are certainly plenty of moments ... Read More:

overall a great game, keeps me playing all night :)
for some reason had problems using dvi connector and had to use vga cable instead and worked perfect.
And just saying it does work on vista no problems.

Isn't just good for the price, is good full stop. Can set controls and sensitivity just in case a game has bad options for those (NFS Pro Street for example assigns R1 and R2 instead of R2 and L2 to changing gear and can't be changed). Whole package works wonders though does take a little getting used to as it's biggest flaw is that there is a slight dead spot in the middle but is easy to get used to and is probably the case in about half of wheels so can't ask for more from it. Brilliant.

This is a good team shooter with great graphics so it gets one star for that, I unfortunately had to knock 4 stars off.Firstly because off the nonsensical irritating booster pack registration which a month later still denies me access to a game i paid for.After five attempts with different soldier names and email address's ,I find it hard to believe that EA have the nerve to force you to sign up to a members account ,why on earth can't i just input the serial as with the special forces pack?It seems that this is a common problem so don't bank on being able to register your booster packs or use them ,Extremely frustrating!Also after playing online against players who seemed to be cheating it turned out they had the unlocked weapons that are better than newbie weapons ... This looked amazing. Amazing clothes, items and a whole lot of family fun. But NO! Why? Because it ruined my sims. It gave my sims a bug and i had to restart the whole game. It is ok, but I don't use it often. Buy it if you like new objects and clothes though.

AoE has a sound pedigree & the Conquerors' Expansion is the icing on the cake.
The facility to customise your own camaigns is irresistible & enthralling.
It has excellent graphics & a number of levels on which to play helps prevent early frustration & encourages learning.
This is ideal for both the seasoned game campaigner or the absolute beginner.
Hours of endless escapism - fabulous!

This game is a waste of money because you buy it use it once to upload the latest gadgets and then put it away and don't use it again if it was £2 it would be alright but it is almost £8!

The original Ship Simulator was great; it was unique had great graphics and was fun to play. Ship Sim 2008 is one of those very few games where the developers seem to have looked at the forums of the previous game, and took their lead from what people really wanted. As a result, apart from the obvious; more scenery more, ships and better graphics, there's also open ocean environments, BIG waves and storms, and the ability to sink ships. Like MS Flight Simulator, Ship Simulator is also used by professionals. While it is not quite at that level yet, it is very good.
