There's one major flaw to this gamepad that undoes all the positives it had going for it (like its price tag and feel in the hands): the up-down-left-right button is off-centre, pointing to the one-thirty position of the clock rather than the twelve position, making it maddeningly difficult to use in, for example, a flight simulator. (And the box has pictures of a helicopter and fighter plane on it.) Instinctively your brain and fingers wander, for example, downwards to the six o'clock position to pull back on the stick to climb and to twelve to push down and dive. X 45 Digital Joystick & Throttle

What was nice to see with this stick, that it was 100% stable, like other sticks, it may jump, or be a lil quirky, like when you calibrate it, you see the stick moving by its self, but with this stick its totally solid, in fact you really never need to calibrate it.

Comes with software to configure all its buttons and sliders, the throttle stick as stated before, can be set with a screw underneath to make it less stiff.

BUT, and this is a big but, the stick its self, has a very annoying and very stiff spring, that unlike the throttle, cannot be adjusted, this means making small accurate monomers very hand to do, because you have to apply a lot of pressure just to move it a little, and keep it there, as the tension tries to pull ... Saitek Eclipse Keyboard (PC)

Ok the Keyboard is excellent! The Bluelights are an awsome effect, and it looks great next to a fully modded shell. Depending ont he lighting situation, the LEDs can be turned to Med / Off settings at the touch of a button, and that does make a big difference sometimes. I LOVE this keyboard and wouldnt change it for a different one!

SideWinder Game Pad

This pad is the most responsive and robust pad on the market - every review ive read of other, fancier, newer microsoft gamepads always says the same things - theyre either not as responsive as this original sidewinder pad, or simply aren't built as well.

I have a different colour version of this gamepad, but otherwise it's identical. Works perfectly with Lego Star Wars II for the Mac. No need to install third party drivers, as support is built into the game.

I have bought this peripheral ages ago, planning to use it with EverQuest. 5 years down the line and I am STILL using it with World of Warcraft today! Think of all the buttons scattered around the keyboard that you will need for an MMORPG or RPG. Strategic commander lets you have all those under one hand! Try it and you will not be able to play a MMORPG without it! By also re-assigning my 3 extra mouse buttons to ALT SHIFT and CONTROL keys, I can use it in combination with the Strategic Commander to get an insane number of available keys at my fingertips. I repeat!!! Its an MMORPGer MUST-HAVE!!!

Think of all the buttons scattered around the keyboard that you will need for an MMORPG or RPG. Strategic commander lets you have all those under one hand! Try it and you will not be able to play a MMORPG without it! By also re-assigning my 3 extra mouse buttons to ALT SHIFT and CONTROL keys, I can use it in combination with the Strategic Commander to get an insane number of available keys at my fingertips.
