The software is poor and the support site is equally poor. The zfang engine software cannot be updated because the URL it wants to download from doesn't appear to exist.

On top of that, their "contact us" support page is equally useless, having filled out an entire page of information, only to receive some uselss HTTP Mail error.

Don't support companies that can't be bothered producing products with adequate support. I'll be returning mine to amazon and looking for an alternative.

Got this wheel as a christmas present, lived up to all expectations. Caliibrating took a bit of time as the windows software always shows wheel out of line when it is straight (though on GTR 2 it works fine). A good amount of choice when it comes to the force (works excellently). Can be very strong if you want it to.
Overal very impressed, hardware and software very good, another brilliant logitech product

I was dubious when reading the reviews for this steering wheel, as they are normally written by children that don't even own the gear. The wheel and pedals are very good in use though.

I needed a cheap wheel that I could take apart to customise for my Mame machine and this works very well. It has good resistance when turning the wheel, this is created simply by two large springs inside. It is recognised straight away in Windows and was easy to setup in Mame. There is nothing wrong with the pedals either.

The illumination isn't great, though it's better than nothing if you're gaming in the dark.

My biggest grudge is that maybe 2-3 years later, the ENTER, apostrophe, # and dot keys are unreliable - you have to hit them hard. I took it to pieces and tried cleaning etc., but no luck.

It was nice while it lasted.

I've only just bought this, so thought I'd give my initial thoughts:

It is actually more comfortable than I thought, and the motorised palmrest isn't just a gimmick.

I do have a problem with the cable as mentioned in a previous review. I can see it occasionally hindering movement, unlike the cable on the G9.

The extra buttons look like they'll be great in gameplay.

One *major* point: I read reviews of this mouse on American sites, and on Amazon US. They mention the fact you can add/remove weights just like my G9. However, I can see no evidence of this at all. It may well only be on the American version. Had I known this I may not have bought it as I am very happy with the G9, but just thought I'd try another ... Read More:

Excellent gamepad, what can I say. Its rubber grips combined with the smooth plastic shell give it a very comfortable feel that excites me more than it should. The shape is perfect - holding the Rumblepad 2 feels entirely natural and is never a conscious effort when playing games (FFVII!). Analog sticks are smooth, and the buttons are soft but still able to click satisfyingly. The quality of this controller is very obvious, and I suggest you not to waste money buying the cheaper imitations, no matter how similar they may look. Biased though as I'm a bit of a Logitech fanboy.

A couple minor issues, though. The analog stick buttons are a little harder to depress than I would've liked, requiring a bit more effort than ideal. Second, I would prefer buttons ... Read More:

Plenty of buttons and responsive in games.
The main problem is that within 2 weeks of using the gamepad the 2 thumb paddles just crumbled so had to use the stumps, until they too crumbled.
Ok, so my thumbs may get sweaty and sweat contains salt but surely this would not cause them to crumble into bits so soon.
I only used the pad now and then (not constant) and did not use too much force but really disappointed that the essential parts should fail in such a short time.

Having pre-ordered the item in February, the delivery date was postponed time after time, and eventually arrived in June. I thought that the extended delay in delivering the product would mean that it worked.

It was immediately apparent that they had not even bothered to create a help file for the keyboard, and instead included a help file for a different product - really useful, since none of the screenshots actually matched up to what I was seeing.

After several emails to tech support, explaining that the macro keys on the side didn't work, tech support said that they knew that, and hoped that customers would be able to figure out the solution, and when they did, they'd let me know.
