I admit I purchased Equestriad 2001 first, but this game is pants in comparison. Commentry is so annoying you want to smash the game up. Graphics of all courses are awful. You cannot see where you are going in cross country. Looking after Star is mind numbingly repetitive (I used to have a horse and it was never this dull!!!) Takes ages to load *anything*

Only good thing about tihs game is if you keep going and manage to get through the awful graphics and commentary then you do have a challenging game. I was left feeling very cheated out of what could have become a fab game. Buy Equestriad 2001 instead. Better still - someone combine the smartness od Equestriad with the idea of Mary King pleeeaassseee!!!

I ordered this for my 13 year old daughter for Xmas last year. She completed it in 15 minutes and it has been left on the shelf ever since. I made the mistake of thinking that it was a Dance mat compatible game; it is all key board!! I wouldn't pay £1 for it!!

I've been playing Creatures since the original game came out 10 years ago and I've been addicted since day one. Words cannot describe the fascinating complexity of the series. On the surface its just a lot of cute, fun animals in a beautiful world full of interesting gadgets, beautiful plant and animal life and areas to explore. And if you want thats all it ever has to be.

But for the more ambitious player theres so much more to the game. You can breed your creatures to create new breeds, or genetically engineer them if you prefere. You can download thousands (literally) of 3rd party add-ons, new kinds of creatures, new objects, even whole new environments or create your own. Myst III Exile

Another high rating for another Myst game.
Though unable to beat the complex symbolism and puzzle-integration of Riven, Exile does well as a sequel. The Ages are less linked, but the new 360 degree views allow you to follow characters around the screen, look down at what you're standing on (though your feet are rather unnervingly invisible!), and peer over the edges of railings: something that Riven was sorely lacking despite its stunning scenery.
The old "find the pages" quirk is back, this time for new-character-Saavedro's diary, though not all the pages are needed to complete the game, but all give an emotional insight to the character's mind as do the plot-developmental messages he leaves around the Ages.

Quite fun to start with, but very limited. The sort of game that everyone else would offer as a freebie on the web to download. Not worth £4.99, more like 99p. The kids found it irritating, and since they spent most of their time in the gulley, soon lost interest having to wait for the ball to roll all the way to the end every time. Commentary is repetative, but the kids liked repeating it at tea time.
