I bought this game because my son loves fire engines and police cars. It is very basic but for a 4 year old its great. You complete missions with 6 vehicles and gain medals and you can print off the awards. The controls are easy and the graphics are pretty good. Im after the Patrol game next but i dont think it works on XP unfortunately. I can recommend this game especially for young lads who love pretending to be fireman/policeman.

A good choice of game for the virtually computer illiterate parent to begin with. My children aged five & seven, have grasped the fundamentals and are now enjoying the challenges posed by the various levels available. The game does not involve the violent destruction of the universe but provides enough crashes and bangs to satisfy little (& not so little) boys. The controls are straight forward with clear and bold graphics. All of which is ideal for younger children. The "host" is friendly and encouraging so that the kids will persevere with the game when they do encounter a problem.

The whole thing is ideal for people who aren't keen on shoot 'em up type games.

Buzz Lightyear Of Star Command

I was frustrated but then I went online and found a website on how to understand the game and then it was easy from there. My son was 3 yrs old and was fascinated by toy story and buzz lightyear - of course. I had to get it for him. I learned it and we finished it all the way to the end. He had to finish some levels on his own. You have to do all the different things on each level in order to get the medal and go on to the next planet. It is simple once you have gotten passed the vampire. That level was hardest. You have to figure out each villans weak spots and keep blasting at em'.

102 Dalmatians Action Game

This was my first action game. I got it 3 years ago when I was 6 and I still play on it! I love the way it is based on London. Choose between 2 puppies (You can switch between them any time.) You can bark to destroy Cruella's evil toys, and tumble into crates to release dozens of puppies. You can doggie paddle in lakes and rivers and meet loads of characters. Also be careful of Horace, Jasper and Le pelt, but don't be scared to ambush them! There are 20 big levels and six mini games. You may recognise Stone Henge, Regent's Park, Piccadilly, Big Ben and the underground in some levels!

I don't know what curse came upon Episode 1 products but lack of imagination and playability sure seam to be among them.
Not a bad game but so distant from the quality Lucas Arts had show us in past.

I played Rogue Squadron almost at end level and somehow got bored with this at 3rd. Technical features are overall much better than Rogue Squadron but its not enough.
