I first played this game when it was first released and loved it. I loved it so much that I tried finding somewhere to buy it, but didn't and never got a copy :( until now :D I bought a mint condition copy off a seller on here and it's brought back so many wonderful memories.

Even my 14 Y/O cousin can't get enough. That's saying something. He's very much "games about cars, fighting or killing only please". He can't stop playing it now! It's all he does when he comes to visit.

The graphics are great, too. But I do agree with the user above/below who mentions the auto-save feature. That is quite annoying, but you get used to it and sometimes are thankful for the fact. The only other bad this I can say is that the gameplay ... Read More:

Formula 1 99

This game is the most realistic, challanging and fun formula one game on the playstation. They have even included the heat haze from the back of the cars which shows the depth they have gone into tho make this so realistic. It is a must for any formula one fan.

Grand Theft Auto 2

Having spent far more time than I should have done playing GTA during my time at university, I was champing at the bit for GTA2. Put simply, it's great. It's better than the first one as it looks far more sophisticated - there are exciting-looking explosions when you hit cars with rocket launchers, and the volt-gun also provides snazzy graphics with electric shocks snaking over the screen. But the best thing about it is being able to drive like a total lunatic, mowing people down and picking on one gang in order to be given the "genocide" points reward. It's violent like the last one - gives you the opportunity to take out those everyday frustrations in a stress-relieving I-didn't-kill-my-flatmate way. Fantastic. And not just for men.

Wow, the memories, running around destroying everything in Smash TV, brainmelting plans trying to create the biggest Klax possible, and bashing building in Rampage. Wow - just wow.
Sounds like I had great fun eh, well it was slightly marred by the fact that 720, SuperSprint and Toobin all don't work on the Playstation2 - frustration! 5 stars probably on a PS1 - but I'll never know... sigh...

A Bug's Life Platinum

A bit difficult to complete with full scores. Maybe easy for a young computer whizz kid but for an average child, theres no chance. Its easy to get from level to level but not with all the collectables that you need.Takes a lot of time nearer the end of the game to complete levels as you have to keep going back to the beginning to pick up certain objects. Quite an interesting play but its just something to whip through when you are bored, not something you can't wait to complete, just a playstation accessory.

Quake II

wow, i havn't had such a sensation of gameplay since i played jomes bond golden eye!
The game features very good graphics, and still surprising even today, the gameplay although similar is just what some one needs to satisfy boredom. The enemys and some of the weapons are regenerated into quake 4, but it's great to see there original desighn!
The game is more complicated then doom 1-2, not only by its improved graphics, but it's small primary and secondary missions and objectives make it a fun game to play!
There are alsorts of physics like dynamic lighting, location damage on enemys and walls, and real impact that engages you more tham any other game made at that time.

Definitely the best game i've played recently. The graphics may not the best ever but the way in which you are forced to use your brain as well as purely blast things to pieces makes it well worth buying!

Tenchu: Stealth Assassins

Despite being a huge admirer of the fourth Tomb Raider game this still remains to be my faveourite PS1 game. Its wonderfull gameplay, original use of stealth and tactics, and its emphasis on patient exploring and atmosphere put it above most other similar games. Add to that a wonderful feeling for the magical, sinister and mystical world of medieval Japan and you have a great package which has not dated, and has not been tarnished by its rather disapointing sequals. It's rare that a video game should have such a haunting and emotionally tense effect on me. The music is often lovely and the sound effects have a strange unearthly feel to them which only adds to the suspense! One I will keep playing.

Theme Park

This is definitely one of the most addictive games I have ever played. The satisfaction gained from creating a profitable little park is immense and the range of rides and attractions available for you to build is huge. Whilst occasonally it can get a tad frustrating, especially if all your rides break down at once, for sheer enjoyment you can't get much better than this!!!

Time Crisis - Platinum

The original game, this game is still a winner. Although dated, nothing beats blasting the s**t out of all the enemies you encounter. There is also a secret stage to try out if you do really well - this is definitley worth checking out.
However, I played this game with a controller and was horrified. You get killed trying to aim at the enemies as you have to move the cross-hair around, this is a bad idea. But when using a lightgun I found this game the best and simply unbeatable.
Who cares if the graphics aren't completely up to scratch? With tons of enemies to blast to pieces, cars to shoot up and rockets to dodge, who would stop to think about the graphics? The gameplay of Time Crisis is simply mindless, action-packed fun, and this is all that matters.
