Dragon Ball Z: Final Bout (PSone)

Origionally released in Japan in 1997, and in the UK in 1999, Dragonball Final Bout was the first 3D Dragonball game, making it some what experimental. Unlike the 2D Dragonball beat em' ups on the SNES and Sega Saturn, there is no split screen mode. What's most troublesome about the game is the incredibly slow character movement that makes gameplay almost tedious. Whereas the fighting in the Dragonball seires is hyper-fast, this game is somewhat of a let down from the zany-dbz action you would expect- a flaw later corrected in the recent PS2 Dragonball games. FF is a game for people with a vilont touch, play as 4 "hardnuts" 2 male 2 female, and pick up anything, from a small knife to a car, and smake the nearest goon round the head.With great 2 player mode well worth a tener.

Tomb Raider III Platinum (PSone)

There's something I really, really like about Tomb Raider III. This game has my favourite storyline out of all the TR games. I'm a big fan of the series but I have to admit, the storylines aren't exactly very engaging. However this game did intruige me and there are some interesting twists in the plot. The reason most people play TR though is for its addictive gameplay. TR3 is a very long game and takes you to a variety of interesting locations, though sadly no tombs which I found disappointing. There's a bit too much combat for my liking, when TR should be about puzzle-solving in quiet locations with the occasional bit of gunplay. this is an Absolute classic, I remeber Watching the movie and I loved it (I was 8) and I remember Getting the Game a couple Of Days before it's realease, anyway, this is a Very goodd movie game, possibly the best, You Have to collect Rings in ordr to advance to the next level, they're all hard to find, well... Most anyway, the Bonus Levels are very fun, There is no music I remember from the movie, but they suit the theme of the game, the graphics are ok, I dunno, I havn't Played this game in Years, overall it was AWESOME!

Firstly, let me just say that I play PS2, so to me this game is no longer a top contender with graphics etc, so to help you people who still have a PS1, i'll write from how i liked it before I got a PS2:

The first thing that hit's you when you come onto the game is the graphics, there brilliant. There's a large selection of touring cars from Volvo to Ford and a number of special cars to unlock ranging from Peugot to TVR Speed 12's. The driving, especially the computer is very agressive. There's plenty of bumping and shoving, in real touring car style between even the computer team. G-Police is quite simply a wonderful game.

Do you remember the gun-ships flying around Nakatomi Plaza from Die Hard the movie? Or the helicopter chase seen from T2? You can relive all of those exciting moments in this excellent gunship shoot 'em up, one of the most original games to come out for its time.

The graphics are excellently rendered, there is no noticeable slowdown as tracer fire flies at you from all directions, you have nearly unlimited options as to which targets you take out and which ones you show a bit of mercy to, and the difficulty level is just right, the missions get harder as you go, giving you the opportunity to both get into this game quickly and also to develop your flying skills as you go, ... this game is pretty good, but the handling could be better with the drivers. the tracks are good but it's very easy to go the wrong way if it's your first time at it.once you get used to it it's a good game, especially if you know the tracks.
