Shrek Treasure Hunt

This game would be highly recommendable to a child, of between the ages 2 and 9, but as i do not fit into such a catogary I found the game very dull and simple. The levels were monotonous and the contolling of shrek seemed very unresponsive. I decided not to carry on with the game at about half way, as there are much better games to be spending my time playing. The game would probaly appeal to a great fan of the charactor or to those who enjoy childs games, though at 2 stars I do think i am being generous.

Syphon Filter 2

This game is excellent. I like the one player mode because once you have completed it you can do more because there are lots of hidden extras. The two player game is equally as good. Syphon filter 2 is a game that suits for everyones needs, stealth, guns blazing and snipering. In conclusion this is the best game of its type.

Grand Theft Auto: London Mission Pack (PS)

People have been saying that GTALondon is going to be better than GTA, but I don't agree. Make no mistake, this is a very good game, but it's not quite up to the standards that I would have expected from a sequel. It does have its good points, the sensetivity is just right, as is the level of difficulty. I enjoyed playing GTALondon, but if I had the choice, I would rather play GTA.

Best of Doom

Let me sum this up in one line: I bought this in 2000. It's 2007 now, and my room still echoes to the sound of Shotguns slaying Demons.

DooM is phenomenal. You cannot put into words how good this game is. Draw the curtains, turn off the lights, and plunge into Hell head first. The game contains most of the levels from the PC versions of Ultimate DooM and DooM II, with only a few levels dropped (mostly the very tall ones). However, it also has exclusive Playstation Only levels, some of which are Secret. All monsters except the Arch Vile are there, and to make things interesting DooM II creatures appear in Ultimate DooM levels (especially on high difficulty). I think that this game is a superb birthday present for a young child. The graphics are quite good and because it is based on t.v characters children love it.

A good quality game that evryone will love!!!!!

Dracula: Resurrection

I have pretty much all of these style games on the PSOne,both Dracula games,Necronomicon,Louvre and Amerzone and this was possibly the best of them as it was the most straightforward,the puzzles were good and the locations uncluttered,the second Dracula was overcomplex in places relying on trial and error,as was Necronomicon,I thought this was excellent.

WWF Smackdown

I love WWF Smackdown!, and I've got the calluses on my thumbs to prove it. I hear that WWE Smackdown! 2: Know Your Role is even better, but this first Smackdown! title puts every other wrestling game I have ever played to shame. There is room for improvement, but there's little not to love about the wrestling action unleashed from this Playstation CD. You have to start off with the wrestlers; you get all of the big names from WWF (now WWE) at the time, and most of them look great. Chyna's animated character looks atrocious, with a tiny head set atop a mountain of muscles, but I have few other complaints in this department. Panzer Front is a Game that you need to understand to enjoy. I think one reviewer on here stated that the missions "Bordered on the unfair!" thus totally missing the point. The Missions in Panzer Front are Based on actual tank encounters in World War 2. So unfairness gets thrown out the window. Find out how difficult it was for allied tank crews to take on the German Panthers and Tigers. It certainly is an education. This is a game that creates suspense and excitement. Try edging your Sherman around a house thinking you have found a perfect ambush position only to take a hit from a tank stalking you, if it is a tiger, you are dead! Ape Escape

First of all, you MUST have a special Playstation analogue controller in order to play this game on the Playstation 1. The standard PS1 controller will not work. I have not tried it myself, but I presume that if you want to play it on the PS2, the normal controlpad will work fine.

The main character is a boy named Spike. Spike's mission is to round up monkeys which have been given super-intelligence by an evil monkey named Spector. There are lots of levels which feature beautifully-created icy caves, volcanoes and waterfalls. The goal in each level is to catch a certain number of monkeys.

The gameplay is the same as most 3D platformers, with running around, jumping across ledges and fighting other cartoony creatures along the way. ... Read More:

WCW Mayhem

WCW Mayhem is a relatively old game (the 'WCW' should give that away) it was initially released in 1999. Yet it still has enough entertainment value to be worth a play even today.

1. Sound. The best sound effects I've ever heard on a wrestling game. I've played many titles in this genre, including Wrestlemania XIX and Legends of Wrestling II, and Mayhem is superior to both. The crowds roars and jeers, the thuds and slams, go together to make a fantastic atmosphere. Even better is the two man commentary, and it's like you're watching it on TV.
