I remember when I bought this in Autumn 1999. For the next month-two months upon purchasing it I was hooked. I thought this was the best Wars game yet and I'm a big wars fan me.

I loved the lightsaber fights, the gun battles and sometimes just mucking about slaughtering the innocent villagers when I knew I would fail the mission anyway. I found the Escape From Theed mission where you have to escort Queen Amidala to safety a tough cookie though. Eventually I found my way through it.

Yes I'll admit that by todays standards there are a few glitches but sometimes it's just great to pick up and play.

Tomb Raider 2 - Platinum

I bought Tomb Raider 1 on PC yeeeeaaaars ago, and because i had xp, it didnt work well.
Then I bought this and was soo happy!
Lara's home is at its best in Tomb Raider 2, (TR 3 is boring) and the assault course is cool!
The wall of china level is a classic TR level, great for using all techniqques like diving, shooting, killing and so on.
The venice levels are great too, the first level is actually quite difficult, but dont be tempted to use a level cheat, i did and i regret it! The speed boat you can use in Venice is good to, and at the end of the first Venice level there is a neat peice of puzzzling to work out! The opera house level is very hard but also very good!

Command & Conquer - Retaliation

I'm not an unfair man. I love the C&C series...well most of it anyway. The idea of commanding armies to obliterate the other is a very happy prospect. But for those of you who have played the games prior to this (C&C, C&C Red Alert...) then you know it works on the exact same principles. So your thrown into an already familiar realm and play through either Soviet or Allied campaigns.
Sure enough, poor acting shines through once again. As it does with all recorded videos in the C&C series. So kiss goodbye to replayability instantly.
The same textures are used again...as you found in existing games so it already looks boring.

PlayStation 9002 Series

i can remeber when my brother got a PS1 for his birthday. his first game was Crash Bandicoot 2 and i can remeber sitting and watching him play it as i was only around 4 or 5 years old.

whenever i got a turn to play i would always get immersed in the game and start jumping whenever Crash did. Games don't make you do that anymore...

people always seem to think that power is what makes a good console but its not. my favourite RPG of all time is FF7 which had characters whose bodies were differently sized cubes basiclly. free roaming RPGs like oblivion may look great but the character you create always lacks a personality and history.

Scooby Doo and the Cyber Chase

The gameplay is fairly simple and a little like Crash in that you have to bounce on boxes etc to smash them in order to collect burgers which restore your energy and also pies which you throw at the baddies to kill them. There are a number of different areas, for example you are in Japan and then Egypt and in each area there are 3 levels to complete, the 3rd of which requires you to kill one of the baddies before you can move on. The graphics are quite good on this game and the characters are realistic too, but you only get to play as either Scooby or Shaggy. I would say the negatives are that you very rarely get killed by any of the baddies during the levels as you see them so far in advance that they rarely get close enough to kill you, you have plenty ... Warhammer Dark Omen

A well presented copy of this classic from "Old School Games" gave me the opportunity to enjoy the game. My only criticism of the game itself is that I have not yet mastered the ability to control the vast numbers of characters.. give me time!

i bought my network adapter a while ago and it was quality! u simply follow the instructions central station is a bit confusing at first and you may need a router so that you have an ethernet connection but i didnt have to wait for my code in the post i jst registered and played!
and boi did i play!! its all about socom 3 and socom 2. there was a time when i was adicted! online play rules!!! if youve got a ps2 get this!!!!

True, this game is not as good as some of the new consoles games, e.g. PS2, Gamecube or the Xbox. This game was an early release on the playstation one. At the time it was a pretty good game, and offered a story mode and multiplayer options. It is a challenging game and allows you to choose from a wide range of characters, which all have their own special moves and attacks. Overall this game is worth buying if you want a cheap new challenge.
