I have bought this game and found it very fun. it has such a wide verity of challenges and a very good story line. I has really good graphics and a good free roam feature meanig no loading during game unless u catch buss where you can still walk on it anyway. It has a awesome bmx feature. the bmxing is just as good as any matt hoffman bmx game even though i have just bought a matt hoffman game. I reccomend this game over project 8. and find it way better. 5star great game

In a paraphrase this game is like GT3 minus the GT Mode. Therefore technically it shouldn't be called Gran Turismo. Unfortunately the reason we have GTC is for the bridge gap between GT3 and 4. Perhaps this is in the fear that loyal fans would be lost to the other racing giants such as TOCA. I can't help feeling that Sony thought they would just make a game to pass the time until technology permitted the advancements of GT4.
I bought this game in the hope of a new GT series game that would improve over the well attributed GT3 A-spec. However there are many, many downfalls to this title.
* No GT Mode.
* Very Few cars, 50 at the most.
* A limited number of courses to race on.

The previous editions of this game were much better, the addition of mods is a nice touch, but it does not compensate for the poor selection of cars, and races. It gets really hard sometimes, and the fun aspect will be lost shortly. I played for a while and then put it away.

Ignore the negative crits about this game, man! It's friggin' awesome, 'nuff said!

Sure it don't got Free Roam, but, it has other things that most or none other games don't have. Things like crews, man.. you don't have to always play and win races, you can send one or two or HELL! All of your crew members out to race and win for you.

There's tones of stuff, I'd mention it all here but not only will I be here all day but it might ruin some things for people who like surprises. But, yeah! Get it.. get it NOW!

This game is totally not bad. The graphics are not the best but they are good. You don't have to read the book but if you do then you will understand the story.
The characters don't look like the one in the movie, but it's on the cover 'Based on the literary works of J.R.R Tolkien'.

This is a very good game if it comes to gameplay. You have to search for things of for somebody (Frodo and Aragorn). And you have to fight (Gandalf and Aragorn). Gandalf has awesome spells and aragorn is cool with his moves.

I've recently got hold of a copy of this and have spent a few hours on it already.

Remembering that its a good few years since its release, its obviously dated on the graphics side but the handling of the cars is as good as most newer games. Takes a while to master each required stunt as theres no map or walkthrough prior to having a go, so you just learn by your mistakes - and yep theres a few needed to get to the end of each section.

Its stressful but addictive. It really does give you pleasure in timing things right and completing each stunt.

As its now cheap to get hold of, have a go as its good entertainment!

I bought this title last summer, expecting more like CMR2, which was one of my favourites on the PSOne. But this game is one of the most annoying games I have ever played!

GRAPHICS: visually, the game is between average and good. The cars look beatiful!

SOUND: what really annoys me is the engine sound. It sounds as if the engine is about to blow, and it's very monotone.

GAMEPLAY: The two game modes, stages and championship, are totally boring. There's nothing here which motivates me to play the game.

HANDLING: I loved the handling in CMR1+2. The car in this game fells totally unconvincing, as if it is spinning around a pivot point somewhere in the center of the car.
