If you like destruction derby then you'l love this otherwise stay away. It takes all of the usual destruction derby elements and puts them into a next generation setting. The graphics are what we now expect, however, they do suffer from some major jaggies. The gameplay is good but nothing spectacular. The game is enjoyable, however, you'll not be placing in a year's time. In short, it's fun while it lasts delivers everything every destruction derby fun coud have wanted but still lacks that bit of polish both to the gameplay and graphics to truly make it a classic

The graphics on this, as far as games for ps one goes, is exeptional. Instead of your usuall playing a hero and saving the day, your a dead vampire brought back by the Elder to avange your death. Being transformed to being a "devourer of souls", any enemies you kill both good and bad you absorb their souls. This isn't an average game for the playstation, the theme is quite gothic, in the fact that you are dead and obviously cant die again. However if you die in the normal world you are dragged into a spiritual plain which is incredibly time consuming. Altogether a good game and a relief from the usuall crap that keeps coming out.

I can't tell you how much I was looking forward to this. I'd finally cracked the Resident evil series, Metal gear solid and Syphon filter had been dealt with, Tenchu was truly mastered, and just in time it seemed like a new contender had appeared on the horizon.
I spent a couple of weeks hmming and aaahing over this game, reading the blurb on the back, looking at the graphics, almost taunting myself. So I took the plunge and got hold of a copy.
The premise of the game is that a high-tech NATO train, Blue Harvest, is Hijacked whilst on a cross-continental hourney from Russia, carrying an important dignitary and his entourage.

I am not usually a fan of this type of game. I first got it with a limited edition ps1 console and thought I'd give it a play, not thinking I would enjoy it particularly. How wrong could I have been! This is a fantastic, addictive game with at least 20 hours of gameplay, non of which is boring!
I know this game was probably made with kiddies in mind, but I was 20 when I first bought it and thoroughly enjoyed it - my sister is older than me and is similarly addicted!!
There is some mild combat, but it is mostly a puzzle-solving, climb up the rocks for the treasure type game.
Milo, the main character, is a likeable chap and the other "goodies" in the game are very helpful and equally likeable.

First of all, you MUST have a special Playstation analogue controller in order to play this game on the Playstation 1. The standard PS1 controller will not work. I have not tried it myself, but I presume that if you want to play it on the PS2, the normal controlpad will work fine.
The main character is a boy named Spike. Spike's mission is to round up monkeys which have been given super-intelligence by an evil monkey named Spector. There are lots of levels which feature beautifully-created icy caves, volcanoes and waterfalls. The goal in each level is to catch a certain number of monkeys.
The gameplay is the same as most 3D platformers, with running around, jumping across ledges and fighting other cartoony creatures ... Read More:

Tarzan may strike you as being a game purely for kids but some of the levels are quite challenging. Throughout the game you will have to climb through the tree tops, ..., swing through the trees on vines, and swim through crocodile infested waters. I found this game quite challenging as animals came running at me from all directions! The graphics were all-right but I have seen a lot better in other games. They certainly weren't as good as the feature films' graphics!
Before each level you can watch a clip from the film before playing (I liked this part because it gave you the chance to have a well-earned rest!) Although I liked this game I didn't feel that special urge to keep on playing it all the time.
