Rogue Galaxy is the latest game from the creators of Dark Cloud, which means it retains many of the good features that the series developed in its two main games. This latest installment is more mature, with a more far-reaching agenda and some characters with a bit of extra depth. The cartoon style graphics are still being used, but they look great. My only regret is that the game clearly steals many of it's new features from Final Fantasy XII!

In this game you kill, destroy and hypnotise just about everything.
It is a really good game and I strongly recommend this to anyone over the age of 14.

I find it strange that some people are berating the putting feature of the game. I really don't see how it could be any better, and as for people saying it is impossible I really don't see how. If anything the optional Putt Preview option makes putting ridiculously easy - I don't see how you could miss. Perhaps people who have complained have not liked the transition from older TW games where the putting was different - my advice would be to practice and you should easily get the hang of it.

An excellent game for the Playstation 2 - hours of fun completing missions, collecting important nuclear secrets, destroying listening posts and capturing or killing the elusive 'deck of 52' ! Steal or 'borrow' cars, tanks or helicopters GTA style as you explore the North Korean countryside to earn as much cash as you can. Thoroughly recommended - can't wait for the sequel !

well i love dthe first one but the second has progressed alott more, fixing many problems, the story line is more gripping the graphics and smoother, the levels are more diverse and now you have co-op not to forget the weapons, they make the game so much more fun, dramatic, and violent, this game was suprising from the very beggining and i mean, the very beggining as in the intro fmv. and the levels afterwards were just awesom i wotn spoil too muhc but.... swinging london! and loadsa beatles lookalikes haha, just get it, its so fun and will keep you hooked on violence and the awesom story line

Bought this for my daughters aged 8 and 5 and some parts of it were a bit much for them so I was often asked to help out in order to complete the level. I would say it's suitable to anyone of about 10 years old and above. Pretty good game though.

It's no secret that Square Enix don't make shooters. These type of games tend to sell like week-old sushi in Japan (I guess they aren't as blood thirsty as the west!) so Square Enix do what they do best - the weird and fantastical. This is Square's first attempt at a third person shooter, and while it's not bad, it's far from perfect and probably won't attract the type of person who plays gun porn-fests like 'Black'. With Dirge of Cerberus, as with other games in the Final Fantasy canon, it's the story that's most important, and here this game excels. The main protagonist - Vincent Valentine - was nothing more than a bit-part player in FFVII and initially it seems strange to base a game around him rather than one of the major characters like Cloud or Tifa. I am not going to write a lot about this, will try to make it simple. First, this is hardly a horror game, it easily classifies as an action game with some 'horror' bits, which are very few. Second, before the game came out, the expectations were very high cause it had some nice and a bit original features in it, like combining inventory items to make new weapons, and all these nice things do not exist in this PS2 version.
Third, game play is sometimes over complicated, and a bit repetitive. Fourth, the ending of the game is the worst I have ever seen, you are left with nothing, no answers, not even a final battle, only a puzzle to solve, and voila. Fifth, the controls and camera angles are horrible, especially in third person mode, full of glitches, and you can see the character disappear in ... Read More:

I absolutely and entirely love this game. It has now been about 4 years since I played this game and yet I still remember the storyline as if I was playin it now. This game is massive in the very sense of the word, the entire world is involved in the plot, the storyline is... EPIC and the characters are your friends for the duration of the game. The story also has many plot twists and yes.. moments where you will cry. Beautiful soundtrack (Anyone remember Garden of Memories). Absolute must buy for PS2 owners.
