I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game, even the parts that I couldn't do, and had to succumb to asking for my husband's help..e.g. controlling the altheometer!!
It is a little different from the film, but who cares? Good entertainment value, andthe mini challenges are fun!
Look forward to the sequel.

this game is ace, my boyfriend bought it me because i love both films and im always singing the songs like 'i dont dance'. I gave it a go and i was on it all day! my boyfriend had to refill my glass of water for me a few times though because i was singing my heart out. The duets are soo cool. you can have 8 people in your singing party to sing along with you. also if you and someone else are singing duets and your friends are waiting for their turn on the mics, they can fiddle with stuff thats on your stage. they can change instruments and all sorts. (you have to see it to understand)
however i agree with some of the reviews because the cartoons arn't great, they only have videos in the extras and those videos are of dance rehearsals ... Read More:

I feel I owe this game a great deal, for it has restored my faith in gaming on the basis of art, storytelling, an epic sountrack and, of course, superb gameplay. Too much of what we see in the gaming charts nowadays are the hallmark of generic mediocrisy. Flashy games with impressive graphics and lots of guns, trying to hide their abysmal lack of depth. Well, SOTC breaks the trend.
You play as Wander (Wanda), a young swordsman from a small rural village. The game opens with him and Agro (his horse), and an unknown woman wrapped in cloth (dead, as we shall soon find), making their way across an immense bridge towards a temple. The original premise of the game is deceptively simple; that Wander falls in love with the maiden, she is ... Read More:

The game is quick, slick and can be fantastic at times.
Mainly in the limited overs area of the game.
Graphics, from players to a selection of grounds looks great, the bowling is simple and so easy to pick up with batting just the same.
But after playing the game for a couple of hours it can quickly become infuriating.
The makers of the game havent seemed to grasp the concept of test cricket, except the fact that it lasts 5 days.
While bowling, opposition batsmen attempt a shot at every single ball.
There is a facility to leave the ball, but the players are very much in T20 mode.
Because batting is so easy, batsman can score off of even the most difficult of balls.
Looking to swing the ball away, outside ... Read More:

It never gets boring and is great 2-player!

We sat down to watch the film as a family, ranging in age from 7 to 60, and all enjoyed it very much. So much so, that I bought the game for the 7 year old. "Good choice, nanny" he said. And nanny loves playing it too!

This game has some of the hardest boss battles in any game. "The End" for example can sometimes take an eternity to kill. Then theres the awful camera mixed with the lack of a soliton radar system and its a recipe for disaster - what happens is you cant see the enemy in anyway shape or form so you end up running into them and alert after alert :( I loved Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2 and managed to get through both on all levels of difficulty...I struggled to get through snake eater on Normal mode.
I think the trouble here is the addition of too many new features all at once, instead of just revamping and modernising the gameplay mechanics.
However to draw a line under it all and say this is a bad game would be incorrect, the storyline and cinematics are ... Read More:

This is the type of game you'd buy for a child of about 6 or 7 who likes Penguins.
Much like the film, you play the cute Penguin Mumble, who can't
sing but can tapdance brilliantly, for a penguin. The levels are basic, Dancing, Sleding down a cliff or
swimming, and most levels you have to collect things.
The graphics are pretty good, if a little bit chunky, but
the gameplay could be more varied. ***
